We moved to Sunriver and joined Sage Springs for the winter tennis. We both grew up teaching tennis. We really enjoy the three indoor tennis courts minutes from us and have made great friends playing tennis there. Until 2023. No longer indoor tennis in Sunriver. Sage now has 8 indoor pickleball cts.

I really love this spa. There are a few services that are not consistently offered. But the ones that are offered are excellent. There are pickel ball courts, tennis courts, fitness room, hot tub, steam room, lap pool, showers, among all the apa services.

Such a great spa! Staff is professional and friendly. The ladies at the front desk were especially welcoming. Make sure you ask for Evan. He gives the best deep tissue massage.

My birthday spa day at Sage Springs Spa gifted by my husband had its ups and downs. While the deep tissue massage with Sarah was truly exceptional, showcasing her incredible skill and perfect pressure, other aspects fell short. Communication proved inconsistent and confusing. The three-service package booked by my husband wasn't reflected upon arrival, leading to price discrepancies and frustration. Additionally, I only discovered the steam room and soaking tub upon leaving, highlighting a lack of initial introduction to the facilities. The chaotic check-in process, compounded by the robe and locker issue, made me feel rushed and late for my first appointment. Sadly, the facial itself was underwhelming, lacking thorough exfoliation and offering a light "décolleté massage" which was more of a lotion application to my neck and arms instead of the advertised treatment. Product application skipped specific areas, leaving me questioning the service's value. Despite these shortcomings, the amazing massage and pretty manicure saved the day. While I appreciate the thoughtful gift and enjoyed some parts, the service and communication inconsistencies prevent me from fully recommending Sage Springs. However, if you're specifically seeking a deep tissue massage, Sarah is undoubtedly a master!

The massage was actually wonderful but this spa still just does either 50 min or 80 min massages. Very outdated. And the prices are extremely high. The spa itself is a little dated, it's ready for some touch ups. Most spas do 60 or 90 minutes and for much less. Almost $300 for a 80 minute massage is absolutely ridiculous. We came for a locals package and were not told about the price difference if we wanted to do 80 minutes (50 minutes is not even a massage). The entire resort is ready for a bit of an update. I get amazing massages quite frequently near by for 1/2 the price for 90 minutes. Hope they change things up!

Always a great experience. Great massage and the spa and steam is the cherry on top.

Update— Only after posting this negative review did Sunriver Resort finally resolve the issue. While they eventually refunded us appropriately (nothing extraordinary— they did not go above and beyond by any means in their customer service), I still stand by my initial review that Sunriver Sage Springs has the WORST customer service. And I still standby my recommendation to NOT purchase gift cards online from Sunriver Resort and Spa.Original Review:I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at The Sunriver Resort’s Sage Springs Spa. I have never experienced such terrible customer service with any business, let alone a resort and spa.To make a very long (multi-months-long) story short, I purchased a gift card for The Sunriver Resort online and paid $10 extra to have the gift card mailed directly to the recipient. However, when the gift-recipient went to use the gift card at Sage Springs Spa, it had no funds attached to the card (despite having e-mail confirmations and a bank statement showing that I paid for the gift card). What was supposed to be a nice gift and time of relaxation ended with the gift-recipient having to pay for the spa services out of her own pocket. Then ensued a multiple-months-long battle with Sage Springs Spa, and specifically Sage Springs Spa Operations Director, Michelle LaCroix, to try to remedy the situation.I am disappointed to report that Sage Springs Spa’s response was inefficient and inadequate. After months and months of calling to resolve the issue, (I had to call 30+ times over 3 months), the only thing they did for me was add the funds that I had already purchased to the gift card. This was the least thing they do, since up to this point, they had effectively withdrawn money from my bank account but had not allocated those funds to a gift card, as directed (i.e. THIS IS THEFT). After they had effectively stolen from me, plus the inconvenience of the gift-recipient having to pay out-of-pocket, plus the hassle of having to follow-up for 3 months!!!, I requested two things to make it right: first, that they activate the funds to the gift card (the least, legal thing they are obligated to do), and second, that they refund the charges that the gift-recipient had to pay out-of-pocket the day-of the service (essentially comping the service). What I was asking was nothing extraordinary. The dollar-amount was negligible. As a business, they should have this type of customer service compensation in their budget. But they were unwilling to make it right or appease a customer. They were unwilling to do anything above the absolute bare minimum to try to remedy the situation or compensate me or the gift-recipient for the absolute headache it was to deal with them. This could have been resolved in one phone call, in one day! But instead it was dragged out over months, eventually ending in the Sage Springs Spa Operations Director, Michelle LaCroix, ghosting me and not responding to my calls for weeks and weeks.Honestly, all this effort was not worth my time or their time. But it’s the principle of the thing. They made a huge error by not loading funds to the gift card (again, THEFT). Then, they were inefficient at remedying the issue (3+ months, with me initiating over 30 phone calls!), and their solution was the bare minimum with no regard for my experience as a customer.Long story short, DO NOT BUY ONLINE GIFT CERTIFICATES FROM SUNRIVER RESORT & SPA. And do not expect them to care about you as a customer, to do anything above the bare minimum to make things right, or to be efficient or effective at their customer service. I’m extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I would never expect this kind of customer service experience from a resort like Sunriver Resort and Spa.

Nice that some services are included with a room, but the coed hot tub is terrible. I wanted to enjoy it with my partner and we opted to sit alone in the locker rooms instead.

I was on a Women’s retreat in Sunriver and had a pass to enjoy the club and spa. The workout room is great- plenty of cardio and a section is weight/machines. I would like to see half the cardio machines and a larger space for weight lifting- it was clearly more crowded in the small section because people are more into weight lifting than cardio nowadays- so that update would change the atmosphere and make it more enjoyable. The wet sauna needs a good scrub down, there was bacteria growing in there. The soaking tub right next to the wet sauna was lukewarm and needs a fresh clean. The locker rooms were good. I’d love to check out the mani/pedi area next time!Overall, I was relaxed. I just felt a bit dirty and there shouldn’t be worry of bacterial infection when at a spa.

Facility use is included with a home rental. I have yet to utilize massage services. Indoor atmosphere is perfect. Locker rooms and cave spa a fantastic touch for a private relaxing experience. The indoor lap pool, seating areas, and added touches stand out. The front desk is always thoughtful and present. The workout area, while on the small side does have everything a person might need with the exception of power lifting. One cool feature is that from the exercise room you can view what used to be indoor Tennis that is now a plethora of well appointed Pickleball Courts served by a well appointed staff and director. I joined a mixer on opening day and they did a great job!

Crews are nice and awesome but Gym is way small so I try to use dumbbells so crowded that areas. I don’t have chance to use that. But treadmills have enough. I can run 30mins cardio. Good for me. Anyway facility is clean and neat. I love locker rooms.
