I agree with everyone about the price, it’s a bummer this is the only grocery store in town and I only go here when I need a few emergency things instead of going to roseburg but you only get a few things and before you know it, it’s $100.

Shop Smart is a great grocery store and especially appreciated in a small town. It's nice to find everything we need just two miles from home as opposed to 15 miles away in Roseburg. The prices are great too.

I've worked in a lot of restaurants and food industries, this place is so so wasteful it sickens me. The employees are embarrassed to say their owners. The dumpster has the most beautiful food filled to the top. SAD

(Updated): (A simple reply to this review does not make up for 1 year of being severely mistreated by management because they know it's your first job and needing it)I remember working here as my first real job. 2019-2020Such a terrible first job experience.I was mistreated, threatened and verbally abused by the Asst Mgr. "Mr" Firestone and his friend who was a supervisor before his stroke, Derald.He told me to "just quit" after he accused me of losing his name tag LOL. And made false police reports for "egging" the store. Like anyone is stupid enough to do so.Made private phone calls to his police buddies who pulled us over repeatedly, harassing me on purpose and always questioning me about the "egging vandalism" and threatening us with felonies (while having body cams active)(You're a coward Clay)Then later after i refused to speak to the two officers harassing me, Firestone approached me, while i was off the clock as a customer by the checkstands,And told me to "step outside real quick" as a form of threatening me in front of several staff and customers while taking his jacket off. (We all know what what people mean when they say "step outside")Anyways. Want a job? Go to Dollar General. They pay exactly the same, but have an AMAZING General Manager.

The only grocery store in Sutherlin that is OLD with extremely over Inflated prices on everything! Even with high gas prices, it is smarter to put your money into driving 14 miles south to Roseburg to save money on ALL grocery items in Roseburg since they have 7 grocery stores, plus Costco & stock up. People are calling this store, "Shop Stupid"!

I thought this would be a discount grocery but every item I wanted was priced higher than Albertsons and Safeway. I walked out empty handed.

Not a bad selection. A bit pricey compared to stores in Roseburg but they are good when you need something and don’t want to drive all the way to town.
