Smith Rock Resort is a quiet, relaxing, and affordable place to stay. It is not fancy but is very clean, comfy, and tidy. The location is beautiful, ideal, and close to nature, offering gorgeous views of the canyon. It is a little out of the way but reveals a quiet resort perfect for a private or group retreat. Guests can stay in comfortable yurts, including pet-friendly and disability-friendly options. The on-site Crooked River Canyon trail provides a nice place to walk and hike. A seasonal swimming pool, a beautiful golf course, and a nearby bar and restaurant are available. Management and staff are exceptionally amazing, friendly, helpful, and respectful, with great attention to detail. While some note the lack of screen doors or certain amenities, many guests find it a gem and look forward to returning.
No screen doors on the sliders, unable to take in the fresh air. No light above coffee maker. Nice patio but no fence to let the dog out. Our first time will be our last time.

Excellent place to stay. Not fancy, but we rented half a yurt and it was comfortable and very clean. We had a nice view of the canyon. Carolyn, in the office, was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed and answered all our questions.

Great place to stay, clean and affordable. A little out of the way but if you're looking to just relax, this is the place. Crooked River Canyon trail is on property and a bar/restaurant is next door.
