No screen doors on the sliders, unable to take in the fresh air. No light above coffee maker. Nice patio but no fence to let the dog out. Our first time will be our last time.

Excellent place to stay. Not fancy, but we rented half a yurt and it was comfortable and very clean. We had a nice view of the canyon. Carolyn, in the office, was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed and answered all our questions.

Great place to stay, clean and affordable. A little out of the way but if you're looking to just relax, this is the place. Crooked River Canyon trail is on property and a bar/restaurant is next door.

Very clean and comfy!
Management was great!
Beautiful location , close to hiking trails!
A great place for a private or group retreat.
We had a lovely winter get-away (off-season) there; comfy, warm, and close to Nature.
We stayed in a pet-friendly and disability-friendly 1/2-yurt room, and met other people there. There are places to eat nearby but also microwaves in the room.
There is a beautiful golf course right there, and a swimming pool is open seasonally.
A nice place to walk , hike, enjoy the beauty!
Thank you so much for the warm hospitality!
We look forward to going there again!

This was my 3rd time vacationing at Smith Rock Resort and every time I leave loving this place even more. It is such a quiet, relaxing place to be (and I'm saying that with 4 kids traveling with me). The staff this time were exceptionally amazing with their attention to details of guests preferences, respectfulness and cleanliness (if I could give a 10 for staff and cleanliness I would)! The location is absolutely ideal! As I descend down the hill where these yurts are located, it reveals a beautiful quiet resort where someone from a small town like me feels right at home. The view is gorgeous with several lookout places to see into the canyon. Everytime I come I love how I see so many furry creatures that call this place their home as well. I'm so grateful to have found this place as it is truly a GEM! Thank you for another amazing vacation experience!

The staff was super friendly, the room was very clean and beautiful view with wild bunnies and deer, and enjoyed the sunrise and the sunset. Great price, would stay again.

Smith Rock Resort is stunning and absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our little summer family vacation. The canyon views are mesmerizing. The small wooden yurt cabins are unique and the decor was giving us western retro vibes. My kind of style ;) The outdoor deck was great for catching some sun or just relaxing, and the cabin stayed cool during peak heat times (the blackout curtains helped too). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Jumping in the pool after a long hike was exactly what we needed, and I loved the food truck option! Great place for relaxing, stargazing, birding, and catching cute little quails and bunnies scurry around.
Nearby are great places to hike such as Smith Rock, Steelhead Falls, and on the property itself. If I had the time I would have have stayed longer!!! And If I had a buddy to golf with, this would have been a great golfing spot :) Will definitely come back next time we visit Oregon. Thank you!!

Clean, quiet oasis in nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A unique place to stay while still having the comfort of showers, a/c & heat, and a pool to jump in on a hot summer day. Beautiful view from our patio of the canyon at sunrise and sunset and a great place to stargaze at night. Conveniently located about 20 min from Redmond’s airport with lots of hikes and places nearby to check out!

The rooms are a bit dated, but they're a cool, unique experience. They are like big yurts. This is located down on crooked river ranch near as a clubhouse, and we enjoy staying here from time to time.The staff is absolutely amazing and very kind. I will be back!

I stayed one night at Smith Rock Resort, but I wished I'd been able to stay more. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the canyon; the bed was comfortable; and the staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on coming back!

These days, it is so hectic in Central Oregon. Tourism has hiked up lodging prices and greatly diminished the charm that once was there. Smith Rock resort is one of the last great places in the area!! My family of four had fun swimming in the nice pool, riding bikes, and my wife and I sat out on our private deck to look at the stars.We will return every year to this amazing place!
