Came to install new washing machine today, broke a waterline and then didn’t even remove our old washer. Now we have the new one sitting in our laundry room and have to call a plumber to connect it and remove the old one. Water is also shut off (due to aforementioned ruptured waterline) Thanks Home Depot ?

BEWARE (negative stars would be given if it was possible) - my family ordered wood and cement that was to be delivered to us along with screws and nails, (granted it is the 4th of July, but that was the date they chose - AFTER they did a no call no show on Monday). We live in a rural area, and my father has a heart condition. Needless to say, they called this morning that they would not come up our road because it would put WEAR on their tires and we had to meet them at the bottom of the road. We came down with our truck and trailer and the wood was bundled and we had to undo the wood and reload it into another truck which they would also NOT help with at all!!!!! ?? My father helped and is now ill because of the amount of work he did because they REFUSED to bring the wood up our road. Yes it is graveled, but my 2022 Honda Civic Sport which is low to the ground makes it up JUST FINE multiple times a day. TIRES WEAR DRIVING THEM ON ANY ROAD. They also FORGOT the screws and nails and didn't refund the delivery fee. We will be filing a complaint and contacting corporate. This is absolutely absurd. PROPANE TRUCKS COME UP HERE MULTIPLE TIMES DURING THE YEAR WITH NO ISSUES!!!!!!!! HOME DEPOT HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER. No receipt was given either and nothing was said about refunding the delivery fee. HALF OF THE JOB IS NOT A WHOLE JOB BEING DONE. My father is 63 years old. Luckily we had help to get the job done but if it was him alone, what would have happened?!?!?! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE to do ANYTHING they say they will
They do not want to go above and beyond and will cut corners at all costs!!!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and I am so upset about this whole situation!

The paint staff is terribly slow. The cashiers are either slow or ring you up incorrectly. Customer service is always slow here too.

Been shopping here since I bought my house. Friendly people. Until yesterday. I shop the markdown wood. I saw what I wanted but had to wait while they had isle blocked. The wood was off to the side but I could tell it was warped and/or chipped, so I asked the guy about it and he told me he had met his quota for markdowns and I would have to come back tomorrow because that's when he would mark it. They were exactly what I had come for, but he refused. Of course when I came back next day they were already gone. I was so mad that I,'m ready to cut up my HD cards. These were over $40 boards, and I needed them for my project.

I was at The Home Depot in the Dalles yesterday. I wanted to give a shout out to Envique supervisor. I come in the store frequently and when ever I see Envique he is polite, helpful and always greets me with a smile. Even if its in the parking lot. He's always getting carts back in the store and ready to help lift heavy items or load my vehicle. On numerous occasions, when he's not there, It's like pulling teeth trying to get help loading. I've seen employees got back and forth seeming to do "busy" work while I'm sitting there, sometimes as long as 20 minutes, waiting to get help loading. This is not the case with Envique. Yesterday after loading my trailer with lumber I told Envique how much I appreciated his work ethics and tried to give him a cash tip. He told me it was against store policy and just thanked me anyway.
We need a whole lot more of Envique in this world.

Great place to get inspired to do any household projects or as simple as buying laundry detergent in bulk. Home Depot is an interior designers dream come true. The store is always immaculately clean,the employees are friendly, helpful and most are knowledgeable.
