“The room was clean and nice. we had a problem with the 1st room, and the maintenance tried to fix it without success, so the front desk quickly moved us into a different room. The building is older, and you can hear everything housekeeping vacuuming above and neighbors next you you, it wasn't so bad we slept well. we would stay here again for the price.”

“I stay here every spring to haul logs. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean. They make sure the trucks have parking and are safe. They have a ton of lights and cameras. There are some shady folks hanging around at times but have had good luck so far.”

“This is a nice spot to stay especially if you're in the choice hotels membership group this is one of the better comfort inns It was a very nice stay the staff was friendly the rooms were nice upkeep up to date the continental breakfast was good food was hot fresh the swimming pool was a nice pool it was kind of cool because it was a salt water pool so if you're going to use the pool be prepared that your clothes are going to stink so you might want to wash them in the bathtub in the room. plenty of parking and things to see in the area there's a nice little winery down the road, and there's a cool park across the street”

“We stayed at the Super 8 - The Dalles, OR overnight on our way to Idaho. After reading some reviews from others, we were a little hesitant, but didn't want to spend a lot of money for an overnight stay.Check-in was easy. The receptionist was friendly and we had no problems checkig in.The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.Breakfast was OK...I think we came down towards the tailend of the time breakfast was available. We got the basics as the hotel worker started restocking items for other guests.We would stay here again.”

“I am in town from billings, montana for a family gathering. I am beyond impressed with everything in this establishment. Even though it's finishing a renovation the hotel is running smoothly. I work for a hilton property as a front desk agent, so I have high standards, and they meet the mark here. Kristina is wonderful and was great when making my reservation. Doug was beyond amazing. He went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I have a saying for the guests I work with, I want them to feel like they're coming home. The shilo inn made me feel this way. Great view, great service, great rooms. Recommend this location hands down.”
