This store is out of so many items every week. Drive up and go service is not worth it. It's a nightmare. They never have your order on time, have sent us with the wrong order several times, just a huge pain. Tried to use drive up and go again hoping it would be better. Nope, over half the things on my list were out of stock. Do better Safeway!

Rude self checkout lady asked simple question just ignored and had sassy reply. Half selves empty very little of what I needed so ended up having to go to Fred Meyers.

This Safeway does not care or practice customer service! Their ad products are usually out or just not stocked. These photos were taken at 10 am on a Wednesday morning:/ I have given up shopping here and now drive 75 miles to the closest Winco where I know what to expect and can count on their customer service!

Our Safeway in The Dalles has really gone down hill the last couple of years. We have recently acquired a new manager and she can not keep employees. Their place is truly a bad name for our town.

Just a funny laugh. As I walked into the bathroom, an employee was walking out. This was the state of the bathroom. Next to is was a sign that said something like "If the bathroom needs attention, let an employee know"
Your employee knew and didn't even straighten the trash can haha.

We had sandwiches made for us at the deli. It was only after she started the bread that we realized how disgusting the produce was. The onions were dried out like beef jerky, guacamole was completely brown/black, the lettuce was completely wilted and brown. So I just got meat, cheese and banana peppers. And I’m pretty sure the bread had mold because I took just one bite and it tasted off. I should have just thrown it away and not paid for it. Eat at your own risk from the deli. Someone could get seriously sick from eating there in those conditions!

Approached the service desk rep at the store at store 1489 and I am not happy. My grandma and I are from out of town and don’t have a Safeway where we are from. We wanted to get a deal on the Safeway app for bread so we asked for someone’s assistance to get this deal. She had absolutely no patience with us and walked out on helping us. She had grayish blond hair and looked middle aged. Thankfully we found Colleen at the self check and she helped us the rest of the way and was so sweet. My grandma has worked costumer service her whole life and was not happy with how she handled that at all.

These ess oh bees never have enough checkstands open and now they've closed most self checkstands, as well. It's a horrible shopping experience during the slowest time of day if you have to wait.

Safeway is at a good location in The Dalles, OR. I like the handicap accessible bathroom stall, but I don't like at all the entrance to the ladies door bathroom. The women's handicapped bathroom door was broken off & a very nice lady stood in the doorway of the ladies handicapped bathroom door for me while I went to the bathroom. God 's Blessings to this special lady who didn't mind helping me. I appreciate her ?☺️ loving heart ?, & kindness to a senior ?? handicapped lady. I appreciate this special lady ? & her kind ? heart. ????❣️?????????????? Safeway has some special people who work there.
