Completely gone is the notorious downtown bar, The Vault, and in its place is a midscale family-friendly restaurant and bar with soaring ceilings and original historic brickwork. The original Bank Building from the Late 1800's is a labor of love with historic wooden windows and French doors for plenty of light, a back yard patio overlooking the river, and several upgrades happening soon. This 120 plus seat restaurant features Burgers, Steaks, fresh pastas and seafood, as well as other favorites. The Last Stop draws it's name from The Dalles area being the Last Stop of the original Oregon Trail, and secondly from the bars that stood here before and were the Last Stop of folks who got hauled off to the local jail.
