The tellers and staff inside the branch have no idea of how to service people in any kind of timely manner. I watched one teller take 40+ minutes to service 2 customers. There were other staff in the branch completely ignoring the fact that the counter teller operates at the speed of cold molasses in winter. Pathetic.

I did not have to leave the United States to go to the bank. The US Bank is inside the US. It's a bank where you can get money or save money.

"I would give them zero stars if I could. We got married on Saturday the 22nd. On Sunday we were leaving town for our honeymoon so we decided to deposit the almost $2,000 through the atm macine so we weren't caring cash around with us on our trip. The atm machine froze and took our debit card along with most of our money and did not deposit into our account. The customer service and help we received was pretty useless. None of the staff seemed to care and we didn't get help at all. We got our debit card back but we were told we MIGHT get our money back in the next 45 days. We feel robbed and unheard but the US Bank staff. Oh and this is the third time this has happened in the last month and they are just now deciding to fix the problem. I a.m so angry and disappointed in them."This is my wife's review and understandingly upset considering the circumstances and feeling robbed by a bank you'd been with for over 10 years.2 months later they finally gave me my deposit so I have to give credit for that. I honestly didn't think they were going to make it right. Small claims, BBB, regional, etc. They did though so I will give them the benefit and blame the hardware for the issue but customer services could be a lot faster at resolving issues. ATMs should be audited daily and discretions resolved at the point of business. Luckily I have savings and was able enjoy my honeymoon dispite the massive disappointment on our way out of town by the dalles us bank ATM.

Wasn’t pleased with their services. They mislead you about loans and offer no help when you really need it.
Update: I called their customer service 2 times and got transferred only to leave a message with no return calls.

Waited over 30 minutes yesterday in your drive through to deposit a check in someone's account. Only 1 person waiting on customers. Cars were backing up traffic in the street. Seems like you guys could figure out how to get a least 2 people working at the drive through window thethdrive through drive

Sat in line 2 in drive through for over 40 min with only 2 cars in front of me. Line one moved along normally. I’m still here why can’t you split the work with tho lobby closed?

Branch manager waived 2 fees for me after I accidentally withdrew one of my accounts by using the wrong checkbook. She was super nice!

I went in to cash a check written from one of their accounts. Because I was not a customer of U.S. Bank they required a profile to be set up including taking my finger prints. The whole process took about 30 minutes - then after all that - they tell me there is a $7 fee for cashing the check. I told the cashier that this is something that needs to be disclosed upfront - not after the profile and finger prints and that I should have to pay that because it wasn't disclosed up front, but she said she couldn't do anything about it. I then asked for the manager and told her the same thing, but she also refused to give on the fee. Terrible service and terrible bank - I am a Wells Fargo customer and would recommend them for anyone in The Dalles - they have very good customer service and have never had a problem with them.
