“I am so glad there is a clothing store in The Dalles. The owner of the boutique went to high school with me. She always dressed so chic. I admired her wardrobe. The clothes that are at Terra Cotta reminds me so much of the owner. If you want to be in the trend and also have good material clothing I’d say stop by at Terra Cotta. I bought some overalls from there, they are my favorite in this summer heat wave. I always get compliments when I am wearing them. I also have bought a pair of long boots that goes with pretty much anything. I use those more for winter. I am so happy Terra Cotta is here in a small town like The Dalles. We needed it! “In a small town, we have limited shopping options. When Traci opened Willow + Bark Boutique, it was like a breath of fresh air, especially for today's "mature" modern woman. Traci sells excellent, quality brands that I had never heard of, but have learned to love; they have become my "brand" of choice. Traci works hard to keep the shop looking good and every season offers fun, classic and colorful choices. When Traci isn't in the store, her sidekick, Jackie, does a great job too. “Custom tailoring of their designs so the fit is literally for you! Honestly, I never expected to find a women's boutique offering this level of customization in The Dalles! And at prices equal To off the rack clothes at big box clothing stores. The front of the store is filled with clothing from other brands. There is a good selection of tops, sweaters, jackets, pants, and some accessories. I fell in love with a cream sweater with a camel windowpane print but it didn't love me back! Unfortunately it was acrylic and for me, anything but natural fibers makes me hot. But there were plenty of other choices in 100% cotton, some linen and wool. I was especially impressed with the rack of Not Your Daughter's Jeans (NYDJ) which included several styles making it easy to figure out which is the best fit for your shape. I'm a "Marilyn" gal. For those that never tried NYDJ, they have a great fit! Typically a higher waist, a little stretch to the denim, and in shades of denim that can be dressed up or down. Lines of Designs also creates their own clothing and these items can be tailored to your specific measurements so you end up with a perfectly tailored fit. Need a tighter waist, a shorter length, the seams let out around the hips? The end result will be a custom piece without the custom price. The customer service is exceptional. You can browse in your own, have help picking out outfits or go the customer route. Whatever fits your needs. Located right on 2nd street in the heart of downtown, there is street parking right out front. Definitely stop in!”
