Worst place I’ve ever been. The place looks like a hoarder lives there. Junk everywhere and dirty. The owner, had bad things to say about every person who worked for her. Unpleasant situation. I won’t be returning.

Samar did a great job today! She did a wonderful hair cut and she fixed my hair color. My hair was ruined by two well known salons but Samar knew what she can do and brilliantly corrected my hair color. She is friendly, respectful, professional and nice. I recommend Samar to everyone who really wants to have gorgeous hair!

I'm not sure why Yelp allows former employees to post negative reviews. I've been going to Anita for over a year now. She runs HER business with a high level of professionalism. Her hair coloring talents are awesome and know's what she's doing. Half the time I go in for a cut I don't know what to do with my hair and Anita is quick with suggestions. Her prices are definitely affordable.

I am a long - time customer at Avalon Salon. I've gone to Anita for almost ten years, and am just getting into the habit of leaving reviews because I have come to rely on them. Anita saved my bacon years ago, when I left her for a cheaper cut using a Groupon, and, because karma, my hair was botched. Anita fixed my hair at no cost, and I have stuck with her since. She came to Kennedy School to do my hair for my wedding and did my entire bridal party with nothing but professionalism. I highly recommend Avalon Salon. Anita is always willing to stay late for me and just got me in on a moment's notice when I'm sure she would have rather gone home to enjoy the beautiful weather.

I've gone to Avalon Salon Spa and wellness for quite sometime now and I could truly not be happier! The owner Anita is AMAZING she will work her butt off to make sure that each customer leaves satisfied and taken care of. I went to Nevaeh Salon off 99 (horrible mistake) to get my hair done before a big kick off meeting for the company I work at. They completely butchered my hair and I left in tears. I was going to the local Albertsons (now Haggens) near my home when I saw Avalon, I thought what the heck and went in to see if they could possibly fix this mess that Neveah had left me. The owner not only stayed open until close to midnight to finish my hair but also made it look beautiful! I got several compliments the next week at my meeting of people asking where I had got it done. Anita also helped me get my money back from the other salon and was very helpful and accommodating during the whole process. I have not gone anywhere else to touch my hair since because once you find a good one you better hold on tight to them and Anita is a great one. Also she had a few bad apples working in the salon a younger more less experienced crowd I believe the names were Chloee and Ashley and Francesca that she's since gotten rid of the "problem children" and the atmosphere is even more amazing! She is an amazing owner/stylist and I would recommend her to anyone! :)

I worked here a short time.BIG MISTAKE! This place is a joke and not worth your time. Ive been licensed for 4years and have a great clientele. The owner lies and my biggest problem was her level of professionalism towards her team as well as clients .Needless to say, i moved on to a far better place and i recommend you do the same as to not waste your time or money.:)

I have nothing but the best to say about this salon and its owner Anita! I love love love it! Here's my story; I went to Neveah Salon and was with a stylist named Tara and I simply wanted a retouch of my roots and to have low lights added into my blonde hair. I explained to her I needed it done before my work meeting and she totally butchered my hair! The low lights were awful and all blended together and my roots and touch up looked orange instead of platinum.. needless to say I was pretty much in tears with Neveah. I was on my way to the store when I noticed Avalon was open decided what the heck and to see if they could help me. I met with Anita and explained my horror story. She not only fixed my hair and did one heck of a job but stayed there and kept her salon open just for me until it was done and she added the blonde back in my hair and fixed my roots! I went to my work meeting in LA got tons of complements and explained that this was her just fixing my mess and shes amazing let alone going to her with good hair... lol I would recommend this salon to everyone and anyone! Anita is amazing and has even helped me in getting my money back with the other salon. I have never been happier with a stylist/owner she rocks and so does this salon!
