Exceptional customer service! Always friendly and helpful, do not listen to the bad reviews on here from difficult consumers.Do NOT try to return factory items--their system cannot process them no matter what it says online.Store hours are 11-6 on Sundays--Google had it wrong at one point.

I returned two pants during my recent visit, one without a tag and the other marked as a final sale. The gentleman at the counter was very understanding, and the manager approved a refund for both items. Their service was exceptional, and I would rate it 5 stars.

I had a complicated return that I was dreading to handle, but I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service I received at Banana Republic. Unlike the negative reviews I had read, the staff was courteous, helpful and had a level of service that rivaled even Nordstrom's. Not only did the manager accommodate my return/exchange without a receipt, but three different staff members went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied before I left. Best experience ever.

Worst customer service experience ever! BR is the ugly step sibling of Nordy and Sax with the customer service of Walmart. Order online and receive damaged items then prepare to be treated like a criminal and given a 1-800 number that will tell you the same thing as their completely unhelpful in store customer service. I'm canceling my line of credit here and won't be returning. Absolutely uncompetitive mall company that lives in the dark ages.

No greeting or interaction from the staff while I was browsing but I did have their attention. It is not a pleasant shopping experience when you know you are being watched (as if I were planning to steal!).

Be careful when buying from the very friendly Christine, the Bridgeport Village Store Manager. Christine led me to believe that my old account did not exist. She opened a new account for me and then charged my old account! I called Banana Republic's corporate office when I had a question about my new account. That's when I found out what Christine had done. The person I spoke with told me that Christine HAD to have known what she was doing in giving me a second account. She apologized several times for Christine's dishonesty and told me she would cancel the second account and write a letter to one of the credit bureaus explaining what had transpired to try fix the situation for me. Christine had deceived me. It's unfortunate that she had traded her integrity for the reward she was to receive for opening a new account. Credit Inquiries remain on one's accounts for approximately 90 days. In addition, the opening and closing of a new account effects a person's credit score for several years. PS The store manager (Christine) is not to be confused with an assistant manager who's also named Christine.
