Staff all congregated and talking…took forever to get help, store is dirty, has 2 plywood covered windows, homeless bums sleeping outside, son wanted to spend Xmas money there on new gear, get to the register, son hands him money, he holds it in his hand for a second then hands it back, says “it doesn’t pass his test” and he’s not taking it and hands it back to him. Shocked, we went to Cabela’s instead. Told the cashier the story, he laughed ran a counterfeit marker and checked it out, and called it totally kosher, got better deals and way better service there! Stay away from this Big 5

Staff looked lazy wanted to spend some money here but they didn’t care I left without buying
Revisting my review to 3 to 1 star these guys dont help customers at all they all should get fired, they just stand and talk and give you looks

Great place for inexpensive shoes, air rifles and camping equipment. Staff is super nice and knowledgeable.

They were out of stock for some shoes I use for work. But they helped me look at other store locally. Sadly they were out of stock on my size shoe. Darn it. ?

The Shoe selection has gone down- hill, over the last couple years.I did not check the ammo / gun selection this time. Hopefully It has not.

Darn it! As an investor, I'm worried. Enter the store, customer service starts to drop off from there. Who cares about sales when you can compare notes about last Friday night ?
