My husband and I liked our initial reception but later the customer service was subpar. A staff member spoke to us dismissively and treated us like a waste of time, which was surprising and disappointing, especially considering our membership with Fidelity.

Fidelity investments is not transparent. I used to have a retirement account with them 15 years ago and recently when I attempted to start a new account they denied me, without telling me any reason. I am a high net worth individual with a 790+ credit score, with low debt and no credit card debt. I think that they viewed me as a person who would not pay fees and denied me for that reason. In any event, this company has some cryptic, hidden, tacit rules that may bar you from obtaining an account - and are clearly not client centered like better brokerages like Vanguard. I hope you will consider Vanguard's service which has typically lower fees and a financial structure that makes the client the owner. I have the bulk of my assets with them. Vanguard is straightforward and good.

Fidelity Investments has helped me and my family for years. The staff were polite and helpful with all aspects of investment of my money. They helped us to understand how to use the apps on the internet on both the computer and phone. The parking lot is spacious but tight at times.

I started a couple of accounts through Fidelity online and having never talked to anyone about them, I needed some additional information. I stopped in, without an appointment, with my list of what seemed like 50 questions, and spoke with Jeremiah. Jeremiah was extremely professional, helpful, and overall provided exceptional customer service. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and offered up additional resources for information I may want in the future. It was a great experience and I'm happy to be a customer.

Excellent banking experience. Efficient, courteous, and thorough, I was quite impressed. I needed a medallion certification and the clerks were all helpful and professional. Fidelity doesn't have a good rep amongst my friends, but after this experience I'm glad to have stopped by.
