About Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette
Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette is a nonprofit organization that operates retail stores, outlet locations, and online shopping sites. The organization's mission is to provide vocational opportunities to people with disabilities and others with barriers to employment. Customers generally find the staff to be friendly, and the stores are usually clean and organized. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the organization's pricing and donation policies. Some feel that the prices are too high, especially compared to other thrift stores in the area. There have also been complaints about the restricted flow of donations to the retail locations and the redirection of certain items to private sales. Additionally, customers have noted that the fitting rooms are often closed, which can be inconvenient, and that the return policy is limited to in-store credit. Despite these issues, the stores do offer a variety of pre-owned and pre-used items, and customers can sometimes find good deals on clothing and other merchandise. Overall, Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette aims to support its mission of providing employment opportunities, while also serving as a thrift store for the community. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the organization's practices and policies.
Great store with good selection. Very much appreciate that the fitting rooms are open! Most staff was friendly and racks were not overly full making it much easier to look through stuff. My favorite store in the area so far.
