After bouncing around several in-home daycares after moving to the area, we finally found a daycare we love! The teachers have been fantastic to our son, and have been very pleasant to work with whenever we had questions or issues. The curriculum makes sure they have plenty of outdoors playtime, and they provide meals which has been extremely convenient as well. We love HBLT!

We've been very happy here for several years now. Communication is good and our kids love it.

Brenda and team at Hall Blvd have cared for both of our children for a few years now. Very affordable and consistent care.

We’ve been at learning tree for several years now and both daughters have attended. We’ve experienced other daycare centers with our oldest daughter and this is by far the best we’ve come across. They are incredibly accommodating and always respond to my communication quickly and with a satisfactory answer!I like them so much I’ll be sending my newest addition there in a few months!

Our boys go to Hall Boulevard Learning Tree and we can't recommend it more. You can tell that the staff genuinely cares about you're kids and is able to provide them the support they need while you're working. The kids love going, which makes it so much easier to drop them off in the mornings! They make it fun for the kids by doing little parties or field trips! We appreciate the team at HBLT and truly recommend this center.

Like all daycare there is always staffing instabilities... The instability was most pronounced during COVID up until recently but we survived and they managed to stay in business, which is more than we can ask for as it was difficult (if not impossible) to find even semi-reliable childcare options for us 8-5ers during the COVID period. We are forever grateful for what Brenda, Melinda, and the staff at HBLT did and still doing to raise our 3 children, currently (2, 5, and 7).

I have had the pleasure of leaving our two kids in the wonderful care of Ms. Brenda and her staff at Hall Blvd Learning Tree for the past almost 4 years. First our son (Now a 1st grader) and our daughter, who is currently in preschool there. Our children are well taken care of. The facilities are fantastic, the hours are nuts (in a good way), and they even feed our little one with lunch and snacks... and the price is right! If you live in Tigard or the surrounding areas and are looking for a great place to leave your kids, Hall Blvd Learning Tree is the place to be.

My son has been going here for a year and a half and has really come out of his shell. His social and language skills have improved immensely in that time. All of his teachers are attentive and friendly, and give valuable feedback on a daily or weekly basis. The director is very timely in communication and resolving any concerns we have ever had. We highly recommend HBLT to anyone looking for care for their littles!

EDITED: It happened mid 2018. My child was dirty from old snot every time i picked him up. One staff was bad mouthing working mothers to me in several occasions pointing at some babies and children. That made me uncomfortable even though I'm not a working mother. Mothers are mothers and all deserve respect. THEN my child was physically bullied by an older child (couple times), the behavior was ignored, and was blamed (YES, blamed!)by the staff to me as he cried for it in one instance when I walked towards him to make sure he was fine (I watched it happen behind a window). The staff (another person) lied about it after I first reported to the director, and then tried to intimidate me when no one else was looking afterwards. I did address it to the director again, the intimidation by the staff, both in person and by writing. All this and more happened in less than 2 weeks. Decided to walk away even with my concerns heard by the director because I lost trust (due to this certain person lying and intimidating me afterwards). It was just unacceptable, it was not the environment I wanted for my child or myself as a parent. (I ll no longer engage in further discussion about this).

We have had a great experience with their aftercare program. Lots of kids and activities, outdoor active play, and limited screen time. The staff is kind and helps kids problem solve.

If I could rate this place any lower, I would. Director is catty and irresponsible. Purposely left my child at school when signed up for pick up, I'm assuming to try to get me to lower to director's level.Teachers at school caught director in lies when she didn't pick up child. Director had tried getting aggressive with me verbally and I told her to have a nice day but she tried punishing through my child for not playing into her manipulation.Staff are neglectful and daft. The place is chaos. Not a stable place.Small child was neglected even while I stood and watched.Child was traumatized after two days, for weeks.Lacking common sense, responsibility, follow through, respect, or tact.

Very unclean and sanitation is not kept up. My 4 month old son was in the hospital for 3 days with noro virus and when the culture came back positive for noro I notified the daycare immediately so they could take steps to prevent others from getting this illness that can be deadly (especially to infants) due to dehydration. I let them know on a Wednesday and the Director told me the facility was not cleaned until Saturday. I learned from other parents that a couple of other kids became ill as well. Out of the 8 weeks my son went to this daycare, he was sick for 7 of them. The first he was healthy and getting exposed and then it was downhill from there. I realize colds are normal at daycare. But he had several illnesses that are related to cleaning issues including pink eye, a fungus on his head and noro virus. The teachers are great and friendly and I felt very comfortable with the caregivers. Many of the caregivers are moms and great. I just wasn't impressed with the new Director but even more so, I was incredibly disappointed about sanitation. Also parents should have been notified about the noro virus exposure and warning signs to look for in their children. That did not happen and the Director said they are not required to by law. I would not recommend this daycare and pulled my son out within two months. There are much cleaner options in the area.

SO disappointed with this place! DO NOT send your little lovelies here!!! Every week our 6 year old comes home telling us about how a kid was pushing him and bullying him or being mean, or doing whatever, doesn't seem to matter what the other kid was doing, our child continues to tell us each time that he tells the teacher and she just brushes him off telling him to play somewhere else then or something of the like and doesn't truly help him. When he was learning to tie his shoes, every day his shoes would be untied and I would ask him why they weren't tied and he would tell us he asked the teacher and she didn't help him, or only helped the first time and then told him he had to do it. When I call in to speak to someone they are rude and rush you off the phone even before I say one negative word, I could be calling to praise them for all they know, they just don't seem to want to talk on the phone to a current or potential parent. The very first time I picked him up, they didn't even know who I was and yet they let me walk in to the center without punching in the code ( a lady was leaving and I stayed back to let the door close so I could punch in the code and then enter myself, and the office staff just waved me in.) I went into the room to get my child and the teachers didn't know who I was, had to introduce myself, and then they scooted me out before I could sign my kid out, so I reminded them I needed to sign and they said "Oh, ya! That!" and showed me where to sign. WHAT THE HECK?!? If they didn't recognize me, why did they wave me in, and let me walk out, without any record of me doing so by not signing?! This could have been anybody for all they know!! They also do not cash your check immediately. We have bee completely screwed over by a check cashed almost a full 2 months after giving it. What business keeps a check for 2 months and then cashes it (and we all know how expensive daycare is and how big that check amount is) and expects it not to be a problem for the family at all???? Our kid has decreased knowledge in basics that he had more of going in there, they don't do school work, they started summer 2 months early and our kid said the teacher told him she had too many papers to work through so they're not going to do work anymore for the summer and summer starts early. LEARNING tree?? What a joke.Bad place. DO NOT SEND YOU KID(S) HERE!!!! Wish I could give 0 starts. What a waste of time and money.
