We have been going to Henderson since we moved to Oregon and have been happy with our services. On 12-8 my husbands car broke on freeway and we had it towed to Hendersons with transmission issues. They were closed so vehicle in lot. On 12-9 at 830 am I brought them the keys and explained the issues and got a charger out of the vehicle. The car was in perfect condition. When we picked up the car they had repaired transmission but our windshield is shattered. They claim it was like that when we dropped it off and that is 100% false.

Love Brian and his crew. From the moment I called to the finished repairs I was treated as if my vehicle was the most important thing on their schedule. They worked with me on my payments and treated me with respect. Today is my second visit to finish up repairs. Brian was referred by other mechanics and folks in the auto trade which says something about the integrity and quality of work they provide. I was never talked down to because I'm a woman like some mechanics try. Nothing shiesty about Hendersons Auto. Go say hi to the giant Dane Charley and tell Brian Jerilyn sent you!

Just wanted to revisit my review for Brian & the team at Henderson's. Still #1 in my book and still a stellar 5 star business. Something new & nifty, I now receive an email containing my inspection report with Urgent & Cautionary recommendations for my auto care and no pressure discussion about what services I as the customer want performed. No surprise charges or unauthorized repairs and I have actually saved $$. I also receive an itemized invoice for my records which is so important. I am a huge fan!! I continue to recommend them to everyone I can.❤️ Tell Brian that Jerilyn recommended them

So I come in to get the alignment “fixed” and apparently it’s still not fixed as I just had to change out a tire. Again. Also, they will quote you $200 for a check engine light, which yes is probably normal. Got it fixed without that price. And, they put in the report that my car could be “rodent infested” (a couple of empty Taco Bell bags) and not only that when I asked to quote the check engine light they repeated twice they didn’t want to “go through my trash” in a patronzing tone so bad that you’d think the pope was looking down on you for being gay. Didn’t need to be repeated. So yea, if you want to spend hundreds of dollars for nothing fixed and to be ridiculed over a bag or two of empty fast food bags (excuse me for being hungry on the road and needing to get alignment done asap like a normal person,) go here!! Also, if you’re allergic to dogs and/or are scared of big dogs they don’t tell you straight up they keep dogs in the lobby.

Best decision auto wise!!! Henderson Auto unlike the Kia dealership in Beaverton, has:
1. Great customer service (Bryan & Katie) 2. They do what they say instead of over talking and holding your car with limited to no communication 3. They give you a detailed report on what is wrong before they proceed (by email & phone) 4. This is the BIGGEST ONE = they are fair on the charges/cost. Yes it cost but I have no experiences of them over charging. I will never return to the Beaverton Kia dealership! Henderson Auto for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Henderson Auto is family to me and they treat me like part of their family too. I originally was referred to Henderson when my new car was hit in an accident and after getting it back from a local repair company would not drive straight. I took it to several places around town and everyone told me the alignment was fine, even though it pulled hard to the right every time I drove it. It was a very stressful situation. One day a person mentioned I should take my car to Henderson because they are very good with alignment issues. I am ever thankful for that recommendation. Sure enough, my car was out of alignment and Henderson fixed it and it has driven straight ever since... and that was almost 10 years ago. I was sold after that. Henderson immediately became my go to place for mechanical needs. They take care of all the cars in my family. They are fair, honest and trustworthy. I want to send a big thank you to Brian, Katy and all the people working in the shop ensuring our cars are safe for the road. The shop dogs, Peanut and Charlie, are an added bonus and I always look forward to seeing them as well. If you want a place you can trust to handle your car needs, go to Henderson!

My daughter bought a car from a less-than-honest dealer—her first time. Live and learn, right? Needless to say, the 2011 Subaru turned out to be a cluster of issues. We took it to our longtime mechanics, trusting they would advise us on what needed fixing to ensure safety. They addressed a couple of significant issues, but alignment wasn't their specialty. So, I had to find someone else for that, and Discount Auto recommended Henderson's Auto in Tigard.
When Henderson's called, they informed us that while the back end had been fixed, they couldn't properly align it because the front end was cracked and torn—a concern I had raised with the previous shop, which dismissed it. Additionally, they noted that the battery we had installed was wrong for the car. The previous shop notified me, but, said it was working fine. Henderson's pointed out that the terminals were on the wrong side and rubbing against the fender, posing a fire hazard. Though it wasn't what I wanted to hear, it was the right thing to say and the safe recommendation to make. I truly appreciate their straightforward approach and the thorough explanation behind their recommendations. This is how business is done, we will be going back. Thanks to Brian, Doug, and everyone at the shop!

I reached out to Henderson Auto because I was feeling uncomfortable with the service and repairs I was receiving from my current auto repair shop. I spoke with Brian, the owner, as I had heard great things about Henderson Auto from our community. He quickly replied to my email and took time to talk with me about what was going on. He was not only respectful and helpful, but offered to talk with me a second (and ultimately third) time once I heard more from my current repair shop. He offered his perspective on what I was being told and I felt he was very genuine and knowledgeable in his answers. While I have less concerns about my current repair shop having "done me wrong" and ultimately the car is a complete and expensive loss for us, someday when I get a "new" used car I look forward to taking my car to Henderson Auto as I feel comfortable that he is honest and reliable.
Thank you, Brian, for being so generous with your time for a complete stranger stressed out about cars and expenses. I was raised by two parents who were in the auto service industry for many years and I have great respect for how you handled my questions.
