I've been a JJill shopper for years. I love their tall sizes, return policy, and easy online ordering. However, the service I've received over the last few years at the Bridgeport store has made me question my sanity for continuing to shop there. The level of rudeness displayed by customer service is not acceptable. Let me say, I spend a great deal of money in that store. When dressed well on the weekend, I'm usually treated like royalty. However, since the Bridgeport location is close to my place of employment, I've taken to dropping in after work. My career choice has me working in a cleanroom with dress and makeup restrictions. I guess they think I don't look good enough to be in their store, if I can get anyone to help me, they are RUDE as h#@*.If that's not bad enough, when the store is busy, the employees totally lose it. You would think none of them have ever had to multitask or use time management skills. Also, the changes to their clothing sizes over the last decade is more than odd. I am by no means a small woman, yet small and medium sizes fit me. In comparison to other woman's clothing, I'd say their M is comparable to 1X and 2X. They have no fitted clothing anymore - It's all tent shaped.

Body shaming is real - your external advertising states something for every body. Maybe educate your rude staff to not look a person up and down 5 times when asking about plus size fashion? I have money to spend; “You work on Commission, Right?.Big Mistake!”,Julia Robert’s, Pretty Woman. Visited Bridgeport location at 11:00AM, 8/23/2022. Check your schedule for rude and biased sales people.Shame on you.

Super rude old gray-haired saleswoman when trying to make a return within 30 days and with receipt. Then they ask multiple times if you want to look around instead of returning. "I told you no the first time." Are you deaf or stupid?

Company return policy is predatory. They sell items full price before the holiday. Claim they always ask your name for your profile. Supposed to make it easy for returns or exchanges. I didn't have a receipt for my Christmas gift. They never asked my husband for his name when he purchased the items. J Jill kept $60 of our purchase because of today's markdowns. I had planned to spend more than I returned. So much for shopping in a nice clothing store.

Went in to the store to purchase clothes for my mom. Both of the women working were having issues working the cash register. I slid my card and it said approved, the money was taken out of my bank account. Because it didn’t print a receipt on their side, they wanted to re-run the transaction and told me I should be refunded soon for the double charge? I told them I would come back another time.

My wife loves this place and keeps her J Jill credit card handy when she goes in. The staff is helpful and the place has some unique clothing that makes her happy

Personally I love love this store and the Clackamas store. Love both store managers Annie and Julie. Also happy to see Joanna whenever she is working. Problems happen just about anywhere don't they? I live literally in JJill, I mean literally. I have been ordering more online because it's so fun! I am finding however, that going to the stores is worth it as the fit except for the Pure Jill line varies so much. I just wish there was a Salem OR store! It's the only credit card I use anymore so when there is a really good sale I can go a little overboard and not feel too guilty. I absolutely don't need a thing but.....life is short!!!

I'm done shopping here and will just settle for online shopping from here on out. I visited this store at the end of June. My biggest complaint is that I was charged twice for one item! The clerk rang me up and the card thing said "approved." Well, it didn't print out a receipt so I was told it didn't go through. I had a feeling in the moment that I should have argued the clerk on this point but I was tired and wanted to leave. She assured me that we had to run my card again. Well, lo and behold, I just checked my bank statement and that clerk ran my card twice for that one item. I called the store and the woman i spoke with was helpful and seemed to be going to attempt to fix this but did not apologize in any way. Really? You can't apologize when your store took money out of my account that wasnt yours? And that i may not ever have noticed?

This store is hit and miss in quality of merchandise. Some fabrics are really outstanding but overall I think their prices are too high because their clothes are trendy, not classic. Although I'm pleased with my particular purchase because it's exactly what I needed to complete another outfit, I don't expect it will hold up for more than one season.
