“Dope little neighborhood spot. I came for the gluten free beer but really enjoyed the Indian curry from one of the 4 or 5 carts. Bonus points for having a real bathroom and sink for washing up!”
“They sell the vape i always buy at the cheapest i can find them around town, especially if you buy 2. They also have a great selection of all kinds of products. I've bought cigars from here too, and they even seen alcohol so you don't even have to do an extra trip to the convenience store for that.”
“Fantastic selection. They have bottles that are normally hard to find, out on the shelf. I've been there twice in the last month, both times found something great. The staff is extremely friendly, and willing to chat with you about each bottle. I was pleasantly surprised to see some much higher end bottles available that are normally lottery allocated items. I would certainly recommend and will return.”
“Hands down the best convenience store in Portland. I stop in here as much as I possibly can, prices are as to be expected (not too high and not too low). The selection of beverages and snacks is honestly the best in town.
Always good vibes in there plus the owners are a wonderful and sweet family. They all seem to take the time to remember what regulars want and like to make sure those items stay stocked!”
“Has a bad experience here when I first moved to the neighborhood. I've decided that the staff member probably had some stuff going on that day. My experience has been excellent since. This store rocks check it out. Nobody asked me to change my review it's all me.”
“Great little beer hall with plenty of great beers on tap and even more in their coolers. Nice to be able to build your own 4 pack or six pack of great single cans and bottles”
“We’ve been members here for a while now and are happy with pretty much every bottle we’ve received. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. It’s light, big windows, and
a communal table in the center that could have you meeting a new neighbor with little effort.”
“Hands down one of the best spots around! The Wine Cellar has such a killer vibe—warm, inviting, and just the right mix of classy and chill. The wine selection is super impressive, and the event space? Total game-changer. Mandy, Kendra, and the whole crew are absolute gems. They’ve created something really special here. From the moment you walk in, you feel taken care of. Can’t recommend it enough!”
“We went here to get a gift card for a friend, and the owner was super friendly and helpful. If I lived in Portland I would definitely go back and buy some wines. Check out the artwork displayed on the tops of the shelves while you’re there, it’s great. Recommended!”
“The selection is normally excellent but they were out of several products when I was in today. Checkout person was very friendly and the prices are decent. I'd have given 5 stars if the Scotch I went in for had been in stock.”
“Good selection good prices, asked where the triple sec was and the guy behind the counter didn't even know what that was, another customer pointed it out though. Wish it had more parking for quick in and out but good place to get stuff when needed.”
“Love the staff and the selection! Have the best selection of bottles so I always go here when looking for something I can't find most places. Staff is super knowledgeable and always have wonderful recommendations when I need one!”
“I’ve only been there twice so far, but in both occasions, the staff have been friendly, helpful, and engaging with the customers - including me. Would recommend! Be aware - they’re either closed on Sundays or close relatively early.”

“Best wine shop in town. The new proprietor, Scott, is incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help, even with a wine novice like myself. His prices are reasonable and selection is well-curated. I won’t buy wine from anywhere else. It’s also a great gathering place for friends, especially at the weekly Friday tastings.”

“A nice little store. Very friendly staff and a quick glance around said they had all but 1 thing I would ever go in for. Surprised they even had larger sizes of some thingsy local store doesn't. Easily accessible for mobility impaired from the parking lot. I can't think of anything negative to say. 5 stars would recommend.”
“This is my favorite little grocery and deli. I absolutely love this place. Food is so, so good. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They have an amazing wine and beer selection.”
“This is a gem of a wine shop, carefully curated at very reasonable prices. I am glad to live nearby it. Norman is extremely outgoing with his descriptions and generosity of spirit.”

“Fantastic Wine shop. Looking for that special bottle of Cabernet by a micro winery made locally or just an everyday drinker. Well they have it! As well as very knowledgeable and engaging wine enthusiasts running the best bottle shop in LO???”
“Passed by this store for obvious reasons. We were able to find everything we are looking for and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would say stock of certain alcohol was decent nothing seemed like it sold out or out of stock but it was close to it. I think this is a nice small liquor store that satisfies individuals that might be looking for what they need without really worrying about not having any in stock.”
“New name - Hyland Hills Spirits;
New Hours - 10 to 8 Monday thru Friday, 11 to 5 Sundays.
Excellent selection, # 1 place to get spirits in West Beaverton.”
“Came here with some weird liquor requests, and the person at the counter was super nice. Spent a bunch of time explaining pros and cons and how to best serve the drinks.”
“Great please great selection and customer service as well super friendly and clean has become my go to liquor store I definitely recommend it to my friends and family even strangers ?”
“What wonderful customer service and true hearted owners to suggest I go somewhere else for a broader wine selection because they are just starting their offerings up. I thought that spoke volumes to their business ethics and personal values. I ended up getting the Portland ? Potato vodka and it was all I needed anyway!”
“VERDICT: TOP SHELF LIQUOR AT BARGAIN PRICING!
For such a small store they have one of the widest selections of cream liqueurs available.
I have the option in the luxury of just ordering liquor to my home but I actually prefer to go to this location and pick it up personally as I really enjoy the personal experience of doing so.
Unlike a lot of other stores, the staff actually know a thing or two about liquor and they have knowledge about the different variations and even have good knowledge about the different wines that they carry.
I can honestly tell you, you will actually feel smarter after talking to the staff about your different selections of the spirits that you wish to enjoy.
Did I mention the prices?
Whoa Nelly! ?.
Amazing value!
There are a few pieces of etiquette that need to be covered when entering the store such as a three-person limit that is clearly posted when entering.
The store is fairly small so it's actually really good idea as then you have plenty of room for movement around the store to find the particular items that meet your selection criteria.
About the only other quibble that I have is the very light duty paper bags which in my opinion , you should just bring your own bags as the ones offered inadequate.
BUT FOR THE PRICE ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO COMPLAIN LOL ?
They also carry a lot of other items for your libations pleasures that would make any bartender happy.
Personally, I'm kind of surprised that a cup of coffee costs more than a bottle of liquor that was imported from Ireland but that's just me ?
It's a particular favorite place to stop before I go on my skiing trips.
Happy Holidays!”
“Everything about New Season is great – the service, the selection, and of course, their delicious pies! However, I have to mention an issue with their paper bags. While I appreciate the environmentally friendly approach, the handles are not strong enough to hold the weight of their pies. Unfortunately, the handle broke, and my pie ended up smashed on the ground, completely ruined. I really hope they can find a sturdier and equally eco-friendly solution for their bags in the future.”
“Stopped by for the first time as I know many people that love this place. I do too now! All were very welcoming and had a good selection of wines. I had a certain type of wine I was looking for and was given multiple options along with a description by Bryan the Wine Director. I'll definitely be back and recommend The Cellar Door!”
“Ive never walked into this store and not received a warm greeting from people more than willing to be helpful. Today was no exception! Sam & co make shopping here my go to for all my liquor needs! Not only are they always well stocked they are always happy to suggest new things to try! I was even able to pick up a couple rare bottles that I can’t wait to try! Thanks Sam! I’m sure we’ll see you all again soon!”
“Their tastings are great (some complimentary) which really help us explore wines as we enjoy it but are novices with understanding all the types/differences. They've also had some wines I wasn't able to find elsewhere after trying it at a local restaurant. Staff is always friendly and very helpful with their knowledge.”

“Despite the modest sized commercial space, this store has a massive and diverse selection of wine. The prices are very reasonable and it’s impossible not to find something good that will fit within your budget. The man in charge was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this over places like Fred Meyer and encourage everyone to visit!”
“Interesting variety of imported and domestic products. Prices could be better. They seemed to be priced between grocery store and mall prices, but have items not available elsewhere. Restrooms are available. Free paved parking can fill up during the holidays.”
