I can’t think of a more pleasurable experience in dealing with a professional tuner to improve my 2006 Mini Cooper JCW. George and Spencer Listen to me and gave me their input on improvements for my car beyond my wildest dreams. George is knowledge on minis is unbelievable. He’s built me a car that I can safely say is probably one of the best r53 in the country.
He took care of it for three months and came out with an unbelievable car from suspension brakes engine. Everything was improved. George and Spencer thank you very much. You’ll be forever on my Christmas card list.

Very poor experience on the phone with George. Found online they were listed as an authorized dealer for a brake fluid I was looking for. Called in to ask about availability and pricing and was told it was about 2x the price of where I was looking elsewhere. Before I could get a word in edgewise he gets into putting an order in my name and what time the truck would arrive with the product. At this point I mention that before ordering Im interested in shopping around and he laughs, goes “yea whatever man” and hangs up on me. I have recommended this shop to people with BMW’s before based on their reputation but after this experience I will no longer continue to do so.
Edit: Hi George, thank you for taking the time to reply. Im not sure where you inferred that my grievance was for paying for a part ahead of time as that is standard practice. I never expressed any issue with that on the phone with you or in this review. Rather, it was your shift in tone towards rudeness when I said I was shopping around and the fact that you hung up on me. I found it to be in very poor taste for a business owner.

So great full for Madness MotorWorks!
They are my neighborhood go to now! George the owner answered the phone at 8:30 am and was able to get me in ASAP.. they quickly ran a diagnostic. He was so understanding, helpful and friendly. I was able to take my car home same day. Need to return at a later date when I have more time. It saved me. My issue was minor but I will be taking my car back for all my car repairs .

I was visiting family in the area when I discovered that my Mini was way overdue for an oil change. I didn’t want to travel home before getting it changed. They managed to find a spot for me in their schedule and were extremely friendly and professional. I won’t hesitate to schedule work at this shop in the future. Highly recommend.

I had a water leak I needed fixed, as my 2011 clubman was accumulating water in the boot’s spare well They had the car for a few days and diagnosed the antenna as the culprit with high confidence. I paid $800 for the diagnostics and antenna replacement. The leak is not fixed, and water accumulation appears much worse/faster than before—only two days after picking the car up for repair (which is frustrating). I normally service my car at the Mini dealership but thought I’d give some of the Mini-centric garages nearby me as a shot. I will continue to service my car at the dealer moving forward.

George is great to work with. He and his team took care of all the issues I had with my car. We had a bit of a miscommunication while he had the car, but George took care of me 100% to make sure I was happy. Would recommend him to anyone that owns a mini.

Not a customer, and never will be. I stopped by yesterday and the guy that I spoke to was really rude. Even raised his voice at me. I think he was trying to be helpful and thought I wasn't understanding him but it was the other way around. I'm also entitled to my opinion, sir. Customer service was wack, one star!

I went to this repair shop recently for my 2009 Mini Cooper. The service was decent to start, they were able to replace my timing chain in a little over a week. They convinced me to do a few other small jobs that they deemed necessary so I ended up spending a few hundred dollars more than planned but it wasn't too excessive, other than needing to drain my recently changed oil and only using/selling particularly expensive oil to refill. The real annoyance came after as they scuffed my passenger-side rims and damaged a tire before they returned it to me. This was particularly annoying as the rims and tires were recent new upgrades to the car. As I wasn't originally expecting anything like this I didn't notice until a couple days after I received my car. (In that time the car was taken on 2 short drives and wasn't in any locations that could cause the damage, which I can prove with GPS tracking.) Pictures were also taken before the car was brought to the shop and when it was first noticed, showing the damage done. George, who I believe is the owner of Madness Motorworks, has claimed this was not their mistake due to trust in his employees and some security footage he watched but did not share. He was also out of town while the work was done on my car. Because they have been no help and are trying to pass the blame after causing damage to my car I am writing this review to share my experience. I'm stuck paying to fix it myself now, but hopefully this won't happen to anyone else.

I recently purchased the Mini and was aware of the necessary work needed.George(owner) and Jared worked on my car and the results were excellent. I have been taking my 2013 BMW328i XDrive to Madness for regular service since I moved to the area in 2017. I have total trust in the owner, George. He takes excellent care of my car and never suggests it needs work that doesn’t seem necessary. He really had my back a month ago. My car was due for an oil change and general checkup but I hadn’t gotten around to making an appointment. A family emergency made it necessary for me to drive to Colorado on really short notice. I called and told him what was going on and within an hour he had my oil changed and checked that there wasn’t anything that would make it unsafe to drive 1000 miles.
