Horrible customer service at Washington Square. My husband went in tonight to pick up an online order and do some shopping. He asked for help from multiple employees as they just stood around and no one was willing to actually help him. He was treated as an inconvenience. It was a really disappointing experience. Here’s hoping Ulta employees are a little more open to doing their jobs.

Most of my experiences here are negative due to an unwelcoming vibe from the staff. Feels like they really just don’t want to help you. I get sometimes you just have a bad day but every time I go in it’s the same:/

Got an incredible shade match from Erika yesterday, took tons of pics both inside and outside today and felt so confident. Thanks again!

Came in to look at new products and potentially pick up some new things, in addition to making a return. I have to be honest, the people working were so rude. They were only talking to each other and talking about how much they hate the teen girls that come in. I asked them for an opinion on something and they gave me a quick answer and pointed to a product that was clearly out of stock and walked away. I tried to get their attention to see if they could check the stock below and they couldn’t be bothered to help. Instead of purchasing anything, I made my return and left.

This location is really pretty and I love coming to Bridgeport. The only thing is when I walk into this Sephora the workers are watching you like a hawk and following you around like you’re a criminal. It makes you take offense like they think you are too poor to be shopping here. Their tone is really rude and you can always see someone watching you where ever you go it doesn’t make a good shopping experience i come here to look at what I want to buy I don’t want to feel rushed by the workers because they are making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome I always leave with nothing because I’m uncomfortable.

Friendly Helpful staff. I had Ericka help me with a full face makeup I needed last minute and she did an awesome job. She made the entire process seamless and we had a lot of great laughs.

I usually enjoy shopping at Sephora, but every time I visit this location the experience is disappointing. The staff here are not welcoming and rarely offer assistance, even when it’s clear that customers need help. It feels uninviting compared to other Sephora stores where associates are more attentive and supportive. I hope management can address this, because better customer service would make a huge difference.

Stopped by Sephora at Bridgeport to pick up a birthday gift for my daughter, who loves their products. The store is beautifully set up, and I was warmly welcomed by the staff.
The Bridgeport location itself is just amazing - my favorite part is the lovely flowers outside. Thank you for making the birthday gift experience so special. Well done on creating such a welcoming space!

Everyone can have a bad day but please don’t put your bad day onto the customers….i went in and I got no “welcome in” when there were 3 employees at the front door (which is fine) then I asked an employee for help and it rly didn’t seem like she wanted to help me (which is fine) but then when waiting in line to check out, the girl asked if I was paying w/ card and I said gift card and she looked at me weird and brought me to the stands and then she was scanning my gift card and i guess it wasn’t working, and so she said “just take your stuff and go the front” (rudely by the way and didn’t even say sorry) and then when checking out again the lady in the cashier was very rude scanning my gift card and said “you have no money” (w/ attitude) and I was like “oh sorry” laughing it off being a little embarrassed and I felt so much judgment I can’t even describe it in the this review…I come all the time and the customer service is always great but today lowkey ruined my day and if they all were having a bad day it’s completely valid but don’t take it out on your customer….only going to Tanasbourne and Washington square one now.

I stopped in on a whim, hoping someone might be available to help me update my skincare and makeup—I've been using the same products for nearly 20 years. Annette was amazing! She took her time, walked me through the options, and I left feeling completely refreshed. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and selected some incredible products that fit my needs perfectly.
Annette even stayed past her time to help, and when she had to head out, Blake stepped in seamlessly. Both were patient and understanding as I sorted out some unexpected fraud alerts from my bank after a recent vacation, which delayed payment.
They went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend this location—or working with Annette and Blake—enough. 10/10 experience!

Sephora: My Go-To for All Things Beauty
Sephora is my absolute go-to for anything beauty-related. I mean, the selection is just incredible. They have everything from high-end luxury brands that make me feel super fancy to those indie brands that all the beauty gurus are raving about. Whenever I'm looking for a new foundation, a bold lipstick, or even just a really good moisturizer, I know I'll find it there.
One thing about Sephora, though, is that the staff is always ready to help. On one hand, I really appreciate that they're so knowledgeable and eager to help me find exactly what I need. They've given me some amazing recommendations over the years. But sometimes, I feel like they're following me around the store a little too closely. Like, I get that they want to make sure I have a good experience, but sometimes I just want to browse in peace, you know?
Overall, though, I love shopping at Sephora. The huge variety of products and the helpful staff definitely outweigh the occasional feeling of being watched. Whether I'm looking for a specific product or just want to explore the latest beauty trends, Sephora always delivers.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience you could have for a business that’s in the business of service. Went in to get something for my daughter and the lady who tried to help not only didn’t help but also made a point to explain how I didn’t know anything about what I needed. Ugh. Won’t be coming back to this location.
