Stumbled upon this store and found the perfect office chair! We had put off the search for a while since we didn’t know where to look, but finally found one that’s super adjustable and great for me as a more petite woman. Been using it for a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier!

I purchased an adjustable height desk. I had looked online for one and wanted to check out Sit Stand World. I was afraid their prices would be much more expensive but was so happy to see their prices are on par with what I was seeing online.The staff was so friendly and helpful answering all of our questions. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. They have a great selection of new and used furniture, fair prices and great service.So much better to support this local family owned store than something online. And a great little plant/terrarium store in there too. Worth a visit!

If you are opening an office this a great place to get new or used pieces. If you need a single piece of office e furniture, may not be for you. It was interesting to see all the pieces and they have a great little plant shop too add a bit of green.

Do yourself a favor and see Andrea!! She was amazingly helpful and personable. Highly knowledgeable and answered every question I could think of and addressed all my concerns. Their sit stand desks are amazing and priced very well for how they are made. I am buying two more after falling in love with the first one!!

This review is for a purchase I made 9 months ago. I wanted to see how the desk stood the test of time and here are my thoughts.1. Russ (the owner I believe) and his staff, were a great help throughout the entire process. The environment is awesome; the staff will greet you and ask if you need any help, but also allow you freedom to browse without being pestered if you choose. I browsed around for a good 30 minutes to view their inventory (which is massive) before grabbing a sales associate to ask about specifics.2. I purchased an entire set to include:L-table (72" x 78", 72" x 30" L-shaped sit-stand desk white top/gray base)CoolMesh Pro Chair (blue seat)Filing Cabinet (white)Glass chair matErgo Standing matAll items are still functioning perfectly with no issues with ANY item. I love my desk, my chair, and particularly the glass mat. Most plastic mats simply don't last the test of time because of the grooves they develop with wear. I was a little concerned at first about a giant glass mat breaking from weight on a high pile carpet... but I've had myself, my wife and a couple kids on this glass mat and it can take the weight (also it essentially scratch free too after 9 months - maybe some very minor light scratches here or there)!The desk doesn't have a single scratch. The motors never sound strained. And I have at least 100-200 pounds of weight on the entire desk from day-to-day. I will raise/lower the desk 1-2 times a day.3. You just can't beat the quality for the price at Sit Stand World. 10/10 would recommend. This is Herman Miller quality at a reasonable/affordable price! I essentially purchased an entire office worth of equipment (with one of the larger available desks) and spent approximately $2,000. From the shopping around that I did previously, this same set-up would have easily cost 2-3X times as much at other stores for the same quality. If price is your bottom line, I believe you can also get some great quality "used" items from this store, but don't quote me on that.4. Last notes: Setting up the desks initially can be a little confusing (especially for the L-shaped desks with dual motors). There will be unused parts as you're essentially doing a conversion and there aren't great instructions for setting up the L-shaped configuration (again it's essentially a conversion). Russ gave me his cell-phone number and promptly answered at least 3 of my phone calls to walk me through the process and help me get it all installed at my house. He knew exactly what problems I was running into and gave me detailed advice on how to fix it! Thanks for everything!

Russ and his team have been fantastic. From help with design, quick turn on product and awesome assembly they were great for me on two complete business office projects. They also assisted with recommendations for my home office. Also myself and the entire team love their sit stand desks as they make a great impact on our day to day! Thanks Russ

This is a fabulous local small business, and the owner Russ was awesome to work with! After moving to a new home and finally getting an office for work from home, we needed a good office set-up with a sit stand desk. We looked online and at other places, and Russ at Sit Stand World was able to pull together exactly what we needed, and at a reasonable price.

Cross-posted from Yelp. Great store. With no foreseeable end to WFH I decided to invest in my home office setup. I was about to pull the trigger on a sit stand desk from an online retailer when I found this local store in Tigard. Super helpful staff, locally made desks. Same price as online stores but with a local warranty and service. The desks are very straightforward and they have a very simple price sheet. No pushy sales tactics or anything - just friendly customer service. I was missing some pieces from my monitor mount and they overnighted me the missing pieces. That’s exactly why I did business with a local store. It would have taken hours on the phone and slow shipment to correct my issue with an online company. The frames are quite versatile and you can BYO desktop. The top that I have is upcycled from my old desk - I sanded it down and re-stained it.

I have been looking for a sit to stand desk for a while and I probably could have ordered one online but I'm so happy I went to sit stand world instead. The customer service I received was amazing . The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They are locally owned and operated. Even the manufacturer of the desk that I bought is from the Portland metro area. Shopping local is so important to me, I have tried to make it a point to shop local since the pandemic. If you are looking for office furniture this is your place. Give them a try. I still need to buy a office chair and will be going back to get one.
