The Doctor is so kind. She gets down on the floor with my small dog. So she's at their level they take their time. I don't feel like I'm rushed. She gets to know the dogs and calms them down. It's wonderful. The staff is welcoming and fri enjoy taking my animals ther

I was told my dog's nails would be cut by a tech so I wouldn't be charged as much - $59 for a toenail trim!!!That was after my son took his elder cat in for an issue which the vet ignored, focusing on dandruff on her rump and selling him a cream that had nothing to do with the issue he went in for.I have found a different vet and will never go back.

I've been going to Tigard animal hospital with my cats for over 20 years for mostly routine exams and vaccinations. Over the past several years, I've never seen the same vet twice, which makes me a bit concerned, and after the terrible experience of my last visit, I'll never go back there. The vet didn't introduce themselves, and performed a perfunctory exam and offered a monthly arthritis injection, which I declined and apparently that made them decide not to discuss other wellness/senior issues with me. My cat was removed from the room to get vaccinations, which I don't like and I was there for over an hour, with vet/tech time of about a total of 15 min - there was just no communication about what they were doing and why. When I looked at the list of services provided and the chart notes, several items that were referenced were not even discussed with me. The staff there clearly love animals, but their people skills leave a lot to be desired.

Dr.. Duffy attended to both my dogs. She was kind, though and the dogs really liked her. The technicians took them back for vaccinations and nail trims and they were wonderful too. I certainly would recommend Tigard Animal Hosp.

Clean and efficiently run animal hospital. The staff is wonderful. My best friend doesn't always take well to other people, but all the staff at the Tigard Animal Hospital seem to quickly win his affections.I get emails, texts and phone calls reminding me when Husk is due for a checkup or vaccinations. This I appreciate greatly as my memory isn't what it used to be.I love the whiteboard in the lobby that has the name of all the pets that have an appointment that day. This is an extra touch the staff has taken that affirms how important their furry patients, our family, are to them. When I take Husk to the Tigard Animal Hospital, I'm confident he is getting the best care money can buy.

The Tigard Animal Hospital has always provided great care for my dog, and they treat every animal that comes in as if it was their own.

They were really busy and had an emergency come in...the wait was a bit long this time, but the service is well worth it. The people here are so great and compassionate. I am happy to wait. They may have found me a bit annoying because I went inside a few times to ask how much longer, it was getting warm out and I was getting board. They were so kind and the visit was super quick once they brought us in! The service here is great and the people are kind! What more can one ask for.

I love this veterinary clinic, the Veterinarians and their staff. I've been a client for much more than 10 years, all of our animals are currently & those in the past were patients. The Vets and the Staff care for our animals like they are their own. Currently I take 3 cats and 1 dog. Two of these animals are extremely challenging. The staff and Vets have all helped me work with my animals so they are safe and taken care of. Each need has been met with gentleness, patience & compassion. This combination is working & bringing my extremely fearful extra large puppy out of her shell and she's begun to actually trust. I can't tell you what relief and hope for her future this brings me. Thank you.

We had a terrible experience here.. first, they had our dog all day. Second, they told us she’d be ready to be picked up at 530 and that we had a 1100 or so dollar get bill. Third, when we showed up to pick her up, she was dying.. and they didn’t tell us. They said they wanted to discuss medication options to us on the phone when we arrived… but the reality was is that she had no more than 48 hours to live without potentially spending over 9k on experimental procedures/operations with no guarantees. They charged us the full retail for all of the procedures, and then also charged full retail price on euthanizing her… even after we told them, that finances was an issue for us.Lastly, we requested no paw prints or ashes as we did not want to retain memories of this, even though we were present during her passing… and instead of abiding by our requests and wishes, they sent me a thank you card with paw prints. This was particularly emotionally crippling for us as this has been a particularly hard week due to other stresses in life. Don’t get me wrong, I understand there were no intentions here. However, please listen to your customers and abide by the request. It’s a very straightforward procedure, especially for a healthcare style facility.Do yourself a favor and do not take your animals to Tigard animal hospital.

We have been going to Tigard Animal Hospital vet clinic for about 8 years. We moved with them to the new location when they moved from their 99w location. Their service has declined greatly over the past couple of years. I am very frustrated at the high turn over, and inability to be kind and help. They say "if you want a prescription, you have to request it, and they will never offer a written prescription if your dog requires one". This rule seems to apply to elderly customers, as that is what they told me about my dad's visit, but i have been offered a prescription when needed. Animal care should not be dependent on the age of the animals owner. When i tried to help, by going in to request a prescription they said "to get a prescription, you must wait 24-48 hours". What is this! I really hope they improve as I like to be loyal and consistent with the care of my fur babies.I called another vet that was able to call Tigard Animal Hospital and request a prescription within 20 minutes. I am not sure why it would take a phone call from another vet to get the prescription I needed.I received a phone message two days later asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment for my dog, I called them back to let them know after over 8 years with them that I will be changing vets. They did not even seem to care. I am sad that this happened, they have had a lot of turn over since Covid, maybe in the future they will find stable employees who care and I may consider returning, for now I have transferred my animals to a new vet.

I just switched to Tigard Anumal Hospital since they are closer. They have done a wonderful job with my dog and 2 cats. Especially with my one cat being a troublemaker; they were always conscious of her wellbeing and sanity and very respectful. Have always had clear communication and transparency with the clinic.
