I accidentally signed by kids up for the wrong summer camp. The next day I realized my mistake and called Touchstone to cancel, which they did. I then got a charge on my credit card for $930. I called to ask if I could get a refund, the lady I talked to said she was new and would have someone call me back. I waited 2 days and noone ever called. I called again and after being on hold for 20 minutes was transferred to the 'principal' who told me 'sorry no refunds'. But she would email her billing dept and cc me on it to see if there was anything they could do. Has been several weeks and still no followup from them.

We took our 3-year-old daughter here for backup care during her spring break and were consistently impressed by the warmth and welcome from both the staff and the kids. The principal welcomed my daughter by name in the mornings when we dropped her off, and the teachers clearly managed their classrooms very well, if the good and welcoming behavior of the kids is anything to go by.
We had a great experience with Touchstone, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Touchstone is the best!
We get a really useful benefit through my husband’s work for X number of days of back up care, so we were able to get our three year old in to Touchstone for three days while she was between preschool and summer camps. We have been so wildly impressed with the teachers, the principal and the students. The kids are so friendly and welcomed our daughter right away. Our girl has been so excited to show up every day and is just bursting to tell me all about her day when I pick her up. They serve great food and my normally picky toddler came home excited about what she ate. I just can’t say enough nice things about Touchstone, if we lived closer to Tigard we’d have been thrilled to send her here full time. As it is, we’ll definitely be sending her back for future back up care. Thank you to everyone at Touchstone for a great week!

We could not be more grateful for Touchstone. What a safe and soft place for our little nugget to land for his first school experience. We know and trust that he is loved, supported, challenged and cared for by every single team member and every minute of his day.

We love our Tigard Touchstone Preschool. The staff is great and always puts the children first. My son always gets a warm welcome, personal experience, and has developed tremendously since starting there. Mr. Nico has been highly impactful and is personally invested in my son’s education and wellbeing. Trinidad the Principal is great and a positive advocate for the kids and school programs.

It’s a preschool during the school year but during summer they open it up for older kids summer camp, My 7 year old went this summer and raved about it, he loved his teachers and they did so many cute activities to keep his mind stimulated and tons of play. I wish we would have discovered this place when he was preschool age but we will definitely be returning next year for camp as there were so many pros, water day every Friday, longer hours, very secure building as you need a code to get in which we really appreciated.

Summer and Fall 2022 were a MESS. No consistency in staffing. Multiple school directors left in a few months. Regional Director is fully corporate and clearly focussed on the $$ for profit bottom line. Little understanding of positive behavior supports. Archaic behavior management consequences in place. Low skilled staff. A fancy curriculum is marketed but in reality, not implemented with fidelity. Very little formal preschool learning took place. And shockingly... one of the most expensive sites nearby. We pulled our kids after 4/5 months of waiting for it to improve.

This school is everything I hoped for and more! after trying out a couple other schools in the area we found touchstone and absolutely love it here for our daughter.
