U-Haul initially told me to expect a charge of $63 for driving their truck 20 miles. I ended up driving 27 miles, but they charged me $130 instead. When I went to the U-Haul store to complain, the employee said the manager would call me, but I never received any follow-up. I feel like I was overcharged and ignored, and this experience has left me feeling like my money was stolen. I will not be dealing with U-Haul again in the future.

Gas meter was at the exact level from when we picked up the van to when we dropped it back off. Was charged the full gas price despite their very clear policy that we followed.

I told the guy I needed a pickup for three trips there, three trips back roughly 16miles each way that's 96 miles I said I'd probably need it for 2 days. So if that's what I said I needed why would you put one day twenty miles period these guys are incompetent the truck was dirty. And they didn't enter any of my information and write or even try and make a phone call to me. No they called someone else's phone to tell them to tell me that the truck was going to be reported stolen when I had returned the truck days earlier. I am so overall Unsatisfied with their service completely.

Amber was amazing. She helped me even though the jerk at the Beaverton u-haul refused to rent to me. I am a long time customer but he refused because I lost my temporary tag and therefore didn’t have a license plate. On top of that, he was rude about it… I will always drive the extra distance to go to the Tigard store moving forward, no matter where I’m coming from or going to.

The employee (young woman who did not seem to want to be there) behind the desk was brusk and very impersonable - she did not seem to have any customer service skills AT ALL or care about how the customer felt about her or the company.

Made a reservation for a truck and tow dolly. We were called THE DAY before our move to tell us there were no tow Dolly in the Portland area and we would have to drive to Vancouver to get one and they had the wrong truck down for us. This was a huge inconvenience which leads us to not choose uhaul in the future.

We've rented three cargo vans from this location in the last 2 weeks. The first two times went flawlessly and the only thing I noticed was the second van wasn't washed and the outside was kinda grimey. This 3rd time I requested one of the Ford Transit vans upon arrival, like I had on the previous rentals. I was told some were available and I could have one. I was given a Dodge van instead, which wouldn't have been a big deal except I was unaware of the higher clearance and that it wouldn't fit in the parking structure I needed to go in. I also rented a dolly and I assumed it would already be in the vehicle as my previous rentals had been. So I had to incur the added mileage and time to go back and get it. Plus this van was dirty inside and out, literally dried mud inside, but not a lot. In the end the job got done and I will just have to remember to double check the fine details next time.

U-Haul rented a storage unit, but, on move out day, U-Haul had blocked access to the building and denied entry. They provided no guidance and just told me that it was my problem, not theirs. I’ve never dealt with a more disrespectful group of employees.
