I'm bummed. Went in with an entire list of things I needed to buy. The store was really cluttered, utensils were on the floor and tucked away in random places. When I went up to an employee to ask where some things were, she didn't even look at me when I was speaking to her and was snippy in her response. I would expect a better experience from a store with prices this high.

Went to WS to purchase a Kitchen Aid blender. Waited at the display for ten minuets where I was ignored by the staff, including the two engaged in merchandising. I can be ignored anywhere including establishments which do not charge premium prices for commodity items. I will certainly be shopping elsewhere for my cooking needs.

Just seconding the others comments about terrible service. First off it’s impossible to get help in that store. Older white gay male made me feel extremely uncomfortable like I was stealing. I asked them for something that wasn’t on the floor, and when they went to go get it he literally would not let me hold the product. It was just coffee filters too. Literally try and take it from him and he just held onto it and said he could ring me up if I was ready. Just extremely uncomfortable and awkward experience. Will not be returning there.

This locations needs a whole new line of staff. Out with the old and in with the new. Horrible service as a whole. I guess I wasn't dressed to the nines enough for anyone to be bothered with me. I will take my business to Kitchen Kaboodle.

I came here with my wife today in search of a few items. We were unlucky in finding what we needed. However, we found an old price tag laying next to an appliance it didn’t belong to that listed the brand and style we were looking for, with the actual machine nowhere to be found. I figured we could keep searching for it and it would surely be somewhere.
As we were browsing, I heard one of the employees asking a couple if they needed help finding anything or had any questions. After that, the employee left to do other things. I figured they didn’t notice us, so we kept browsing.
As we came round about to the end of searching the store, the same employee asked the couple next to us if they had any questions or needed help finding anything. They said no, and the employee left without saying anything to us. Not 20 seconds later, another employee came to the same couple next to us and asked the same questions as the previous employee. Again, they left without even glancing in our direction.
It seems we didn’t “look” like we had the money or the “style” to be shopping in this store and get assistance. And so instead of spending money there, I’m spending time here to tell people it’s not worth it. Don’t go here and get judged and ignored by stuck up people who don’t deserve your time and your money. If they really cared about every purchase and customer, they would show it. It’s very apparent they don’t. I will not be spending my money here, as much as I was planning on it. Shopping local would be nice, but unbiased customer service would be better.

Our store associate, David, was very knowledgeable about espresso machines. I’m not talking about regurgitating information you can already read on some websites, but he has an abound of actual experience from owning and using these models. He knows a lot about maintenance and cleaning, and makes recommendations based on client needs. 1000% recommend.

Holy sshhh…for being such a high-end, boutique-style kitchenware store, their customer service/return policy is garbage. I bought a microplane that snapped in half after 20 uses. I brought the broken microplane to the store and displayed it to the 2 associates: David & some snooty woman wearing a Malibu sweatshirt (fitting) David was helpful, sort of. He processed my return after asking for all my personal information and taking down the info on my license…over a $15 microplane. As if I committed a crime LOL. After he processed my return he loudly explained to the Malibu lady that they would not normally honor that. But clearly they must have acknowledged to some degree it would be ridiculous if they didn’t. I left the store feeling awkward and sort of embarrassed by how I was treated. I won’t be shopping at WS anymore.

Completely clueless employees at the checkout area. The line was around the corner and they’re having long conversations with just about every person at the register. Where is the manager? They also have intense track lighting over where the people are lined up. I was watching people take jackets and coats sauce. It was so hot in there.

Management at this location is a joke. In the same breath they told me they don't have any stock of this skillet, and they can't sell me the display skillet because people need to know what we have in stock. The manager could have easily sold me the skillet, made money for.the company and had a customer that would return. Instead they were rude and lost a future customer. Just avoid this place and shop online from the manufacturer.

My husband and I have been looking at the cafe air fryers. There happened to be one today in the back room marked down. They had it marked as final sale for $374 when they are currently being sold for $329 on their website… when we brought it to their attention and asked since it is in the sale room and has some damage, will it be cheaper than the the $329? They said nope, whatever it comes up as is what it is sold for. So what kind of sale is that? Trying to rip your customers off? Anyone might as well order a new one from the site then with NO damage. Your customer service is severely going down hill.

We can't sing the praises enough for Judy at Williams-Sonoma, Washington Square. She helped us with an espresso machine, then led a seminar on it that we happened to attend there. We were delighted to see her again. Judy is very knowledgeable and has a very pleasant manner of customer service, making you feel as if you're the only one in the store. We love Williams-Sonoma for the quality and variety of their merchandise!
