I am so very happy to find Dr. Dougherty @ Willowbrook in Tigard. This clinic is as suggested by a work pal. So, I called and was able to make an appointment right away and was so flabbergasted that the Doctor was my favorite at another larger chain.I was looking for a new Vet and just happened to be her!!!Dr. Dougherty remembered my dogs, and me!The appointment was just as I remembered; care and concern but not the "hard sell"If you are in the market; make the jump.Karen the receptionist and the techs, to the doc, you will be very pleased with individual attention to your loved ones.

My pet has been a patient at Willowbrook for 3 years now and we can't imagine going elsewhere. The staff is so responsive, caring, and knowledgeable; and their management is especially wonderful to work with.

We took our cat, whose fear of vets knows no bounds, to see Dr. Dougherty at her clinic. She was wonderful with him and alleviated our concern of anything being wrong. This even though she had to take him out of the exam room … and away from us … to run tests. This is usually the point at which other vets bring him back and say they were unable to do whatever needed to be done, and give us a prescription for tranquilizers so we can try again another day. Also, the antiseptic and unpleasant vet smell that usually hits you in the face at other vets was not present at Willowbrook. Not terribly important, but appreciated and worth mention.I strongly recommend Willowbrook and Dr. Dougherty. There are other vets closer to where we live, but having peace of mind and a pet not all freaked out is worth the drive.

Took my cat here on 8/4/23 ( Friday ) for the FVRCP shot, bi-annual wellness exam and ova & parasites test and it was a disappointing experience! The vet wanted to give my cat a rabies shot as well then I was overcharged like a first timer when I had told the young lady upfront we have been there before. Also was supposed to get a call the following Monday with the results for the Ova & Parasites test and never did. Had to call myself a week later for the results. The first time I went there, everything was great… now it was just the opposite for me. But I am glad some people are having a good experience according to some recent reviews, just wasn’t the case for me. Will not be returning!

Took my cat in for the first time with the new owner. The vet tech and vet there was awesome. Caring, thoughtful, gave me suggestions on my cats allergies, and was only charged for the office visit. Great experience and love the changes.

Our first visit to Willowbrook under it’s new ownership was great! Dr. Dougherty was patient and thorough with my two pups (one elderly and one young) and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns.

Does not allow owners to come inside the office or be with their pets. All services are over the phone and in the parking lot, even long after COVID. Not happy since the new owner took over. I gave them over 3 years since I have been a long time customer, but I will be switching vet's to a clinic with more personal service.Loved this vet clinic under the previous ownership. We started coming to Willowbrook Vet in 1998 when we first moved to the area and our dog was sick when we got home from work at 5:00. We called all the close vets and they all said we're closing we can see you tomorrow - Willowbrook said they would wait for us if we could get there in 15 minutes and they were very compassionate when we got there. We have had 2 cats with health problems that Dr. C treated until their later years and the same with our dog. We now have two more dogs and he's still treating them. Dr. C is wonderful and has referred our youngest dog to a dermatologist for allergies when his treatment wasn't working.

I have only been taking my dog here for about 3 weeks now and only been in twice. But so far, I am quite happy with her care. She's turning 11 in a couple months and has Addison's, as well as, arthritis. The staff have been very caring and helpful in giving a lot of options to help with her care, as well as, helping me figure out the best way to care for her and manage budget because monthly injections and pain management can get pricey for anyone, human or furry little one. My dogs care is top priority for me and I'll do whatever I can to help her live a happy healthy life. This vet seems to have that same mindset, which is important to me. Our little ones love us unconditionally and we should always so the same. Thank you to Willowbrook for correcting some bad advice previously given as well. I appreciate your stance on advocating for our "pets".

I am very happy with my dog's care received at Willowbrook Veterinary Hospital. My partner and I have been going to Willowbrook ever since we got our corgi, Chance, as a puppy, and the Dr.'s and staff have always provided exceptional care for our fur baby! Our dog can be challenging at times needing immediate care and Willowbrook has always been there to care for our dog, we know our dog is in good hands whenever we take him here. The Drs also call after appointments for a follow-up with how our dog is doing and you can tell that Willowbrook truly cares for their pets that come in. Compassionate and friendly staff, I 100% highly recommend Willowbrook Veterinary Hospital to anyone who is needing a vet to care for their fur babies!

I will not be returning here, I had a horrible experience since the beginning at Willowbrook. The Dr there was very upset because I didn't want to spay my new puppy and asked me at least 3 times after I had said no. I kept going because my pet needed care but yesterday 09/21/2022 was my deal breaker. After I took my puppy for her last booster and to get her micro chipped they told me if I was gong to spay her, I don't know how many times I had to tell the front desk I wont be spaying her, yet they still asked. They tried to scare me saying that the needle they use to microchip was a big needle so when they spay dogs they take advantage and microchip them because they are sterilized and don't feel a thing. When they took in my puppy she did not want to go with the lady and was resisting. After they brought her back to me they said that I should stop socializing her with other people and dogs and to try to avoid getting her groomed or even take her to parks because she doesn't know how to behave, she is only 5 months! She also said to stop making her get her way because she doesn't like to be told what to do and they couldn't keep her still, they also said I should cut her nails because they were long, I literally cut them the day before. I know my pet more than anyone it just seems that they are unexperienced people. My pet has never been how they told me she behaves and does just fine socializing with other people except with the Willowbrook staff. I am not wasting my time here anymore.

We have been taking our now 4 pets (Rumble, Marian, Mishka, Kairi) to Willowbrook for about 4 years now, and have never thought to go anywhere else! Dr. Leon, the other docs, the techs, and the staff at Willowbrook are all wonderful. They never fail to accommodate us when we have a pet emergency (they managed to fit me in today for an emergency visit - even when they were fully booked) and have quelled my worries many a time. One week, we spent over a thousand for Kairi at the Emergency Vet after she swallowed a large piece of a bone and received no answers, only to return to Willowbrook the next day with an immediate solution for a tiny fraction of the price. They have helped our cat Rumble avoid taking a permanent medication for his anxiety solutions by giving us a solution in a much easier (and stoppable) med that helps to ease his weird urinary issues! And for Marian, they gave us a miracle injectable that has made her gone from limping around to being able to jump on the couch and bed again! Point being - no matter what kind of problem you have, they'll give you answers and work with you and your pet to make everyone better. And truly, the staff are all so very very nice and knowledgeable. I have not had a single bad experience here. I'm so so happy to call Willowbrook my Vet home for all my pet children ?

I can not say enough about Dr. Leon. Our pup was just newly diagnosed with diabetes. Stressful for us and for the pup. He walked me through step by step and carefully explained what to do and how to make sure or dog leo didn't get stressed out.Thank you again. I appreciate you and your team..
