The Mook at Alderbrook is known as the Crown Jewel of the North Oregon Coast, offering a beautiful and challenging golf experience. Nestled among dairy farms and old-growth trees at the foothills of the Coast Range, the course features a well-maintained layout with smooth greens and fairways. It plays to a par 71 with three sets of tees, making it suitable for golfers of all skill levels. Many holes are tree-lined, with scenic views of the Tillamook Valley from holes 6 and 16. Recent renovations and ongoing investments have improved the course, including new carts that are quick and fun to use. The course has been cleaned up, with native plants replanted and fairways smoothed out, providing a more enjoyable experience. The friendly staff and inviting clubhouse add to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to relax after a round. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, including fresh clam chowder. Overall, The Mook offers a memorable day of golf in a stunning setting.

Whenever wee spend time near Tillamook we enjoy going to The Mook for golfing at a peaceful, slow pace and the great restaurant.

This restaurant is ran by the cook. He takes pride in his work and ensures he makes a quality menu that is healthy and tastes amazing. He spent a few minutes with us on the outdoor deck. He was very approachable, and we had a great conversation about chowder flavors. I will definitely return,
