Was just driving through and noticed their sign—so glad we decided to stop! They have a charming little gift shop with locally made sea salts, seasonings, chocolates, and more. A hidden gem worth checking out.

Love Jacobsen Salt! The employee was very nice to me and my family! We got to sample a variety of salts and I found myself fortunate enough to find a limited collaboration salt!
Thank you for the great experience!

Rather disappointed, you might as well just get it from a grocery store. They have a tiny stand that has some of there products and that's it.....major disappointed

Very small shop, but I love their salts, so its worth a stop if you are out this way. They do not take cash. They do not do tours of their facility. It's a little out of the way, but some of us like an adventure.

Visited Jacobsen on a whim. What a lovely experience. Easy to find.
Wound our way toward the bay. Well-marked entry. Driveway ends at the tiny retail store with Netarts Bay as a backdrop.
The person in the store welcomed us and walked us through the flavored salts and potential food pairings.
Had fun tasting combos like habañero, black garlic, and truffle.
Left with salt flakes, flavored salts, salted caramels, and recipe cards.
What a treat!

We've been fans of Jacobsen Salts since we moved to OR in 2011. There used to be a retail store in PDX. But no more. We were out at the coast for the weekend and stopped by. Lovely little gift shop!

Great store and employee was awesome! Of course, it was a little expensive. But, so worth it. We had a fantastic experience there except for the poison oak on the trail to the water. Fortunately the aforementioned employee helped us. What a peach she is! Highly recommend this salt! Particularly good for ice and snow.

Drove over 3 hours to get here on my birthday and y’all turned us away 15 minutes before closing. I have been a big fan for years and just wanted to run in and buy something. Would have taken 1 minute. You have lost a customer for life.

We weren’t really sure what to expect when we pulled up. A small quiet little operation tucked in the woods right on the bay. You can walk around the perimeter see the operation. The real gem though are the folks working there and the pride they take in what they do. Jason was working in the gift shop at the time, he took the time to tell us the story of Jacobsen Salt Co. as he told the story and and explained the step by step process of making the salts I couldn’t help but notice how drawn in my kids were and the excitement he exuded as he explained the process. A great way to start our day in the This Jason was impress, thank you!
We walked out with a bag full of some sample packs for friends, caramels, and a dill pickle salt that is spectacular. If passing by, stop in for a few minutes!
