“If you are in Newport, Oregon area take the time to drive to the small town of Toledo. About 15 minutes drive time. Lo and behold this town has it's own Arts District. In the center of this district is the Michael Gibbons Gallery. Ring the bell and the artists wife will open the gallery for you. If you are lucky the artist himself may come out to shake your hand. Gibbons is self taught but his expertise is amazing. If you can't afford original paintings he has some prints for sale that are very reasonable. Gibbons work is in the top tier of American art, so if you can visit this gallery do so!”
