Inclement weather delayed a drive through the gorge to retrieve two framing jobs that Donna at the Columbia River Gallery in Troutdale had completed but, as they say, it was worth the wait! I've been a collector for over forty years, and during that time, I've worked with many framing shops in several states. Most have done an adequate, no-complaints job. However, a few have performed poorly, while fewer still have produced artistic results. Donna is one of the few framers who produce framing jobs that enhance the medium being showcased. In addition, she is adept at correcting the framing fails turned out by lesser skilled framing shops. I highly recommend Donna and she has earned my future business.

I stopped on here for the first time during First Friday. The gallery is on the main street so you can't miss it. The hosts were very nice and knowledgeable about the art. They have several different artists on display at any given time.

Professional, high-quality framing done by a highly trained archival framer. Who takes time and adds input into every project. Customer service is of the highest concern, with attention to details and materials. Highly recommend. WR

I have recently moved to Troutdale and into a new to Oregon and needed to change up some framing on my artwork. Donna got what I needed and did a wonderful job stirring me in the right direction with a favorite print that had been long neglected. It now hangs in a place where I see and enjoy it every day.

Located on the Main Street in Troutdale, Also Arts (formerly Infusion Gallery) showcases works from local artists. What makes this gallery unique is that they are part of Adult Learning Systems of Oregon (ALSO) program and most of the art they showcase was created by their students. From their website, Also Arts "is a foundation and pillar of ALSO's programs and services committed to the full inclusion of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We believe in providing accessible art opportunities, training, expression, and production." Their goal is to provide life skills and opportunities so that all people are fully included and productive, participating members of the community. Independence is key. How can you not love and support that mission! The gallery is spacious with vibrant art of many mediums adorning the walls and tables. The art spans many mediums - water color, acrylic, glass - to name a few. You can purchase originals and they also have prints and greeting cards. Since we all only have so much wall space, I find that buying the greeting cards and framing them allows me to find a spot in my home while supporting the artist. Plus, I use them for birthday, anniversary or any occasion cards and the recipient can then keep and frame them. The artists who are collaborate with Also Arts donate a portion of the sale back to the organization to further support and expand the reach of this foundation and help other artists express themselves. in addition to displaying art, they have a studio in the back where they teach the students. Also Arts participates in the First Friday Art walk, but no need to wait for a Friday to visit. They are open 10-5 Tuesdays-Sunday. Visit them while you are exploring the charming downtown area of Troutdale. Or if you are heading to the Gorge, plan a stop in Troutdale to have lunch and visit the galleries and boutiques along the way

Donna was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. She took the extra steps to make things smooth and I really appreciate that :-) I'm very pleased of how my portrait turned out. She has some mega skillz indeed!

Apart from the sound of the piano and the acoustic in general, I have enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere, bringing the artists and audience close together.
