I waited far too late prior to a big road trip to order the Stowaway cargo container for my Sprinter/Roadtrek. I thought about purchasing from Amazon since I can fairly accurately predict delivery but opted instead to buy from NW-Overland for two reasons: 1. Their price was less-than Amazon and 2. They understand/specialize in Sprinters. Amazon is good for some things but at the end of the day and as of late, Amazon is unpredictable and their sellers can be super flaky/lame and I didn't have the or patience for a screw-up on something like this.So I called and NWOverland, spoke with Richard regarding my situation and he delivered big-time. Not only did he stay in contact with me throughout the process (calm my nerves), helped configure the specifics for my van and also made sure I received my product in the extremely short timeframe that I needed, I would have been royally screwed otherwise...That my friend is customer service: professional, communicative, cares, price, delivered.I highly recommend Northwest Overland above the rest of the digital retailers, they get it!

Absolutely amazing experience - for me and my custom-built 2014 Mercedes Sprinter!I live in CT and was traveling out west in my van where I stumbled across Northwest Overland when I was looking for a part for my van.At this time, my rear turn signal light was not working. Simple, right? It turned out that all my rear lights were intermittently not working! So dangerous - it had to be fixed before I could get back on the road. Amazingly these guys diagnosed the cause - a loose ground connection in the back of the van. More amazing - no charge for the diagnose! So, given this positive experience, I thought I'd put them to the real test. Were they familiar with high-output dual alternator kits?First, a little background. I have 800-amp hours of lithium ion batteries (8 Battleborns) and 780 watts of solar on the roof of my 144 Sprinter. Yet, it isn't enough - especially when it's cloudy (like it is apparently in the northwest from October to May). I found myself having to find a campground to plug-in every few days.I found an article about high-output dual alternator kits about 9 months ago. I read that they can charge my battery bank from 25% to 100% in like 3 hours driving. If it was real, this would be game changer as even at a campground with a 30 amp circuit it takes about 15 hours of being plugged in to charge from 25% to 100%.Since then, I had been looking for a place to do the install. I called custom-van-build place to Mercedes specialists with no success. Most had no clue about high output dual alternator kits.I finally found a truck place in Mass. that would install the alternator but would not/could not install the regulator or connect it to my electrical system. They would not provide a firm estimate for the alternator install because they had never done it ad s it was “not in the book”, but they guessed a minimum of $1000.Long story, a little shorter the guys at Northwest Overland not only install the alternator and the regulator but ran all the wires to the electrical system and worked with me to complete the hookups to my custom electrical system. All the labor for less than $600. But I also discovered in the process that Oregon has no sales tax so the savings in the purchase of the Nations alternator and Wakespeed regulator was close to $200.But wait there’s more, Northwest overland allowed me to leave the van for 5 weeks in their secure facility while I flew back for Thanksgiving holidays. My van was “all set” for me on my return. They even gave me rides to and from the airport (very close their facility in Troutdale). I’ve had concierge service before from Mercedes – but never anything like this.I could go on and one but it’s safe to safe I’m customer for life. I suspect, if you have a van and any kind of need with your van, that you’ll be a customer for life too.
