This bank has been the best I’ve had accounts with ever! I appreciate the transparency & honesty with my accounts. They have helped me figure out things beyond my expertise. I’ve never felt judged when my situation left me having to use my savings They are accommodating. If I ever move I will stick with them.

Cold, rude and indifferent. We've had our accounts with Columbia for over 10 years, but the branch near our home closed. I drove to this branch with my teenage son who needed to deposit a check into my account. After we presented our IDs, both employees refused to process the deposit unless my son immediately opened a Columbia checking account. Their responses were so eerily robotic that we just quietly got out of our seats and left. Glad there are other options in this wonderful country of ours..

Incredibly unfriendly and disrespectful yesterday. I'm leaving after 20 years at this location.

This experience actually took place at the Wilsonville Columbia Bank but this is the closest Columbia Bank listed on Yelp and I believe that it reflects on the business as a whole. A company should live and die by their customer service, especially if they are to be trusted with your money. Sadly, this is not always the case. We as a populace do not always refuse to accept this poor treatment, but instead we continue to bank with these perpetrators of malice. We all know these so call customer service representatives, they are the ones that give the DMV a stereotypical Hellish vibe, those people that you are forced to wonder when you stare into their cold dead eyes if they had their soul sucked out standing behind that counter or if maybe, just maybe, they are in fact zombies. Either way you know when you approach their counter that your day is about to become far worse. My company recently did a charity drive for one of our local animal rescues. It was aimed to collect change over an extended period of time to help minimize the impact to the employees and yet maximize the donation. Well, we worked hard and the call to aide animals was met. Proudly we knew that there would be no counting by hand of the five buckets of change so we started calling around to area banks. After speaking with a gentleman by the name of Daniel it was determined that they would go ahead and allow us to use their coin machine the once without an account. Three of us quickly rushed over to the bank on our lunch break only to have our pride in the good natured humanity of our employees dashed by not one person, but three. We stated who we were, why we were there, and who we spoke to. Poor Daniel, we saw you looking at us through the office window, your eyes did appear compassionate and full of a soul. Run before it is too late Daniel, run before those three claim you too. That's right even though we had called ahead they turned us away. They said that it was obvious Daniel didn't know how much change we had. Alright, I can give them that no one wants to possibly get into trouble. So we offered to pay a service fee. The three women took turns locking unfriendly eyes and then told us no. We spent the rest of our lunch getting to a bank that counted the coins. On the plus side they gave excellent customer service. It doesn't take much to be the person to ruin or brighten someone's day. Sometimes just a smile and the willingness to do a little extra is all it takes. That is what good customer service is, caring. If you do not care about the customers then for the love of all of us involved find another job. If you are not qualified for another job, then do something that will enhance your life enough that it will cause you to enhance the lives of those you come into contact with. Do not detract from humanity! And if you are the business that allows for this sad excuse for customer service then for shame! You are either tolerating it and therefore condoning it, or you are causing it in your employees. Quit detracting from the human race by giving us shitty customer service. We deserve better than you.

I had to come to this bank for a specific business reason and was pleasantly happy with the service I received. I am surprised that as of this writing this is the only review of the place. It is kind of tucked away in weird strip mall area, but still. The people were really nice and everything was decently quick. I don't have any real complaints. Nothing was amazing and I don't have a full review of all services but would likely give this bank a try if I was in the market for a new bank.
