Customer service sucks.. all these people walking around… no one asked me once if I needed any help. Most of the people are just looking for but some of us wo have been done sooner if just asked… where things are ..customer service is different now…People who work in the building know where things are, if they even asked we could be done sooner.

Didn't have in stock what they said they did. I wasted time and gas!Then a week later, saw an advertisement for exactly what I was looking for at Michaels. Ordered it online and waited for pickup to be ready - took all day. When I got there, even though I was told 5 were in stock, they provided me with same product that I didn't want. So why did they advertise the product I wanted, say it was in stock and then switch out to another product? They said they were the same thing - same skew #. But they aren't the same! Waste of time and gas again!

I love Michael's... as an artist I can get lost in almost every isle. They carry quality supplies and they have enough stuff in there to keep you busy trying new mediums and new crafts. It's a place of wonder like being a child all over again

Sorry to say... this Michael's seems to feel that service and smiles are a thing of the past. The cashier wanted me to use the self checkout even though there was no one in line. She wasn't exactly pleasant about it either. There are no complimentary shopping bags; those are an additional 50 cents; and I wasn't told that until I stood there with a pile of yarn in front of me. (Sigh)

Bought a frame online and it arrived damaged (under the plastic wrap, so manufacturer wrapped a damaged product). When I returned it, they would not refund the $8 shipping cost, even though they admitted it was a damaged product. Sigh. I was given store credit for the rest of the cost, and decided to order a few custom mats for another project. Two weeks later, no word on the order, when they said it would be ready in a few days. I called the store and they said that the order had been picked up. I wasn't called, and certainly didn't pick them up. They apologized and said they would reorder on a rush. Several days later, still no word and I called again. Same story about it being noted as picked up, and the reorder was never placed. The order was prepaid and now almost 3 weeks since the order was made. I'm so frustrated! I have a couple of other custom framing projects, but I'll be shopping for them elsewhere. Also never ordering products from Michael's online again.

I WILL NO LONGER SHOP AT MICHAELS!! 1 STAR IS GENEROUSI was so disappointed when I went to get just a few things. I found what I needed and one of the items was marked down which I was great. My disappointment came when I went to check out. I was greeted well by the only person there who was very sweet and polite. BUT.... when asked if I was paying with a card she directed me to choose a station... TO CHECK MYSELF OUT!!! Even though I has only 2 items I should not have had to check myself out ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE WAS NO LINE OF CUSTOMERS!! INSTEAD OF SPENDING $13 AT MICHAELS, I WENT TO HOBBY LOBBY AND SPENT $26. AND I DID NOT HAVE TO CHECK MYSELF OUT!! SO YOU GUYS AT MICHAELS... YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER!!!

I like Michael's because I usually find what I need without going to a huge store. Not crazy about change to self check outs. Have "rewards" but with self checkout I missed using them. I get frustrated with coupon exceptions.

i will no longer shop at michaels!!! 1 star is generous! i was so disappointed when i went to get just a few things. i found what i needed and one of the items was marked down which was great. my disappointment came when i went to check out. i was greeted by a very sweet and polite associate... but...when asked if i was paying card she directed me to choose a station...to check myself out!!! even though i had 2 items i should not have to check myself out especially when there was no line of customers!! instead of spending $13 dollars at your store, i went to hobby lobby and spent $23 and and i did not have to work and check myself out!! so you executives at michaels... you have lost a customer!!

This michael's has AWFUL customer service. No one helped me find my yarn, when i asked multiple times. The place is very dirty, and unorganized. To top it all off my boyfriend who has a medical issue, was using the restroom - and the worker had a fellow co worker go into the restroom and rush him out! The store wasn't closing for another 45 minutes. I am so disturbed.
