Portland Baseball Club is a year-round baseball training and development organization that started in 2008 to provide more opportunities for Portland area youth. It offers summer teams from ages 12U-18U, year-round camps, private lessons at its Tualatin indoor training facility, and a comprehensive fall ball program. The program is incredible, well-organized, and efficient with excellent and experienced coaches and knowledgeable instructors who have all played at the college ball level or higher. Player development is the priority; they do not chase trophies. The club fosters a positive, supportive, and collaborative culture for the kids throughout all aspects of the program. Coaches build relationships, challenge the players, and put them in situations to better prepare them for opportunities at the next level. The coaching philosophy invests time, trainers, coaches, facility, and knowledge into each player who is willing to put in the effort. Players can significantly improve their skills, with many learning more in a single session than in a full year elsewhere. The owner and the whole crew are devoted to the program. It is a serious commitment that requires dedication from both player and club. The cost is comparable and even better than most other clubs. For kids who take baseball training seriously, PBC is a great place to learn fundamentals and develop into an elite player. The experience is amazing, with tremendous training and development that prepares players for high school and beyond. It is a highly recommended organization for anyone looking for great coaching and support to improve a child's skills.
Great organization, player development is the priority, they do not chase trophies. It is a commitment though. Excited for another season!

My son had a private lesson with JR and he really gave him some good pointers and tips. I recommend for private lessons.

I took my son in for a one on one pitching lesson and he came out smiling and full of confidence. Coach Tom helped him so much. We've got a few other lessons scheduled and will probably go back into the summer a few times just to keep him pointed in the right direction.
