Gonna start referring to this as "the racist fred meyer." Last week I saw the alarm go off as folks were exiting and an employee searched a black man's bag while letting several white folks walk right out. Then today an old lady profiled me and insinuated I was stealing even though I assured her I would be paying for all of my items. Then she proceeded to yell at me as I left. I'm not sure what her deal was but just because my skin isn't white and I have a hoodie on doesn't mean I'm a thief. She clearly had control issues and obviously prejudice against anyone not her skin tone.

Don't go to the Deli and ask for a sample, the associate named Trenton has attitude when you ask. If you hate your job working with the public go find another job. He didn't ask how I wanted the deli meat cut and when I asked how i wanted it it also upset him by his actions by then throwing the deli meat on the counter. This store gets an extra star only because I like coming here and it's clean. I hope management reads these messages because at my job Trenton wouldn't be employed.

this review is meant specifically for the wonderful people in the fred meyer bakery! I ordered a custom cake on Thursday for pickup on Sunday. My expectations were low as we were ordering a cake from a grocery store, but they completely blew my expectations out of the water! I didn't get a chance to speak with the cake decorator, but the note we left asked for a cake with frogs and toadstools. I'll attach a picture so you can see the finished product. This is the best cake I've gotten and will ever get, and for only 25 dollars!! I plan to go back to get another cake every year. To the lovely people at the Fred Meyer's bakery, thank you for making my 18th birthday special! You deserve a raise ;) whatever they're paying you it's not enough!

The pharmacy staff was horrible and did not want to call my insurance company to help push a prescription through. The person at the front counter was too loud when asking my my date of birth and name. Very abrasive. I mentioned it to the pharmacist and she apologized and even admitted that there's been issues. She was the only kindness.

Why anyone would shop here is a true mystery? If you want better prices, go to Walmart or Costco. If you want better quality, go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes! This place is a "Between Store" that "PRETENDS" to offer lower prices, but in reality, offers less for more. Check put their quantities versus price. It's call "shrinkage"! You can do much better, even in this inflated world!

Hello, I'm Austin I came in to get my watch repaired at the jewelry store. I told them that I do not have time I have to go out of town for a week. Can you get my watch repaired with the straps in the face of the glass replaced and talk to these ladies about this for about 30 minutes they wrote down my number and they gave me a ticket telling me to come back. Call when you were coming to come grab your watch. I come back a week later, and nothing was done besides a new battery that upset feeling that I had knowing that that's all they did the frustration I had knowing that that's all she heard to me I thought I could trust them for a simple task, but they did the bare minimum. I clearly do not matter to these employees. They made that clear I'm new around here, and I definitely do not suggest going to this jewelry place excuses in the confusion when I came to grab my watch was ridiculous, they don't care about nothing besides your money please hire people that are passionate about their job and actually care about satisfying their customers because can't get people to buy anything they don't trust you

Their sushi is not gluten-free the employee informed me of this. Their deli is extremely slow. I've been told to come back because they are backed up and cannot help me even though no one is standing in line, and there are three people there on the slicer.

Pharmacy has always been great. The pharmacist and pharmacy associates are always helpful and informative. She even look up my insurance to cover my prescription, she took her time and very courteous. Too bad didn't remember her name.

I love Fred meyers but their staff should be cross trained no matter what their position is, their teenage staff just sit around on their phone talking to each other most of the time even when it's busy and the lines are long they should open up all registers if they need

They advertise products they don't carry and never intend to carry. The manager when questioned became very condescending and rude.

This is a great Fred Meyers. It's clean, well stocked and organized. There are several entrances so if you are interested in garden items, for example, you can go right to that department. Like all Freddie's, you can get groceries, housewares, small furniture, bedding, seasonal items, garden supplies, paint, hardware, clothing, outdoor furniture and grills. I'm a big fan of this chain supermarket. Plenty of parking. Lots of self checkout stands. Efficient service. Easy access on and off I-5.

Fred Meyer gets my nomination for "Covid-19 Rockstar Hall of Fame". Seriously, whether you're the person giving them one star because they don't take apple pay, or the person giving them one star because an employee wasn't friendly enough on your most recent visit, I would suggest we look at the bigger picture. * When we lost Haagen and Albertson's in that tragic merger. thank God we still have FM. At least they have a legit deli, good prices, and haven't been "Safeway-ed". * Early in the pandemic they were the *only* reliable grocery store in the area, offering no-contact delivery, doing it surprisingly well, and not charging a fortune to do it. * When groceries and supplies were getting sold out all over town, they still managed to have a respectable stock, and re-stocked quickly when things ran out. * When the gas prices went through the roof, it sure is nice getting $1/gallon off eh? Anyway, yea, they aren't perfect, and I've left there more than once frustrated by an interaction that I had with an employee or some partially botched delivery (hey, it's bound to happen occasionally if you go there enough times), but keeping in mind the bigger picture, it sure is nice to have them in the neighborhood.

Thank you for not harassing your customers into complying with Kate Brown and the communists' unconstitutional, unnecessary, oppressive, abusive, and overreaching mask and vaccine mandates.

Noah in the pharmacy should be demoted to janitor. Dude was rude and couldn't figure out my prescription. After refusing to help me someone else figured it out easy and he came over being a Karen so I said ok cool go away. He left and came back to complain more. Machines will take your easy pill counting job soon Noah
