I brought my brand new 2024 Nissan Frontier to Tualatin Truck to get Line-X installed. This is the second truck I've taken there and I expected another quality install. I was wrong.
Two days after the bed liner was installed I went to open the tailgate but it was stuck. With a good tug I was finally able to open it. The actuator for the right latch was not working when I pulled the handle. I drove it back to TT to have them fix it. After a short wait they told me it was fixed. The gentleman explained to me that they had left in masking material(!) and it was preventing the latching mechanisms from working.
I went out and tried the tailgate myself, but it was still stuck. I had to forcefully pull on the handle to make it open. Upon further inspection, the left latch was opening first, and then a second pull on the handle was required to make the right side work.
After looking at it a bit, the gentleman who "fixed" it questioned whether it was always like this. Again, it’s a new truck. Then he suggested that maybe this is how Nissan tailgates are designed! Eventually he says there's nothing he can do and I leave.
At this point I decide to go to the nearest Nissan dealer to verify how the tailgate should work. The kind folks at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan showed me how a brand new Frontier tailgate is supposed to open. Both sides unlatch at the same time and it doesn't require more than two fingers' worth of force to open. I record this with my phone to show to the TT installers.
I go back to TT and tell them this. A new gentleman attempts to "fix" it, but no luck. I tell him I'm going to need to take it to the dealership to see what's wrong and get it fixed. Before I leave, I ask to speak to the owner, but he says they're not there, but he will have them call me the next morning. I went home and made an appointment with the dealership for the following day.
The next day I took it to Beaverton Nissan where I bought the truck and explained the issue. The service rep tries the tailgate and he agrees that it is not working correctly. I ask him to diagnose the issue and let me know what needs to be fixed and how much it will cost. While I waited, I called TT to speak to the owner, who had still not called me back at this point. After being put on hold and then being promised a call back, Jason, the manager of TT calls me back.
I explain the situation to Jason and tell him that if the dealership finds something broken I think they should make it right and pay for the repairs. His initial reaction is that he doesn't feel like he should have to pay the bill. Eventually we agreed that I will email him the findings of the dealership and we’ll go from there.
After a two hour wait at the dealership, the service rep comes out and tells me the truck is fixed. I panicked a bit because I was hoping to find out the cause of the damage and the costs before I agreed to any repairs. He explains that the latching mechanism was put back together incorrectly and was out of alignment. They adjusted it and I'm happy to report the tailgate is now working like it did the day I drove the truck off the lot. He then told me he was going to email the invoice for the labor to Tualatin Truck. He said if they chose not to pay it he would simply waive the charges. He felt bad that I had only had the truck for two weeks and wanted to make it right even if TT wouldn't. HUGE shout out to the service guys at Beaverton Nissan!!!
I am very disappointed with how Tualatin Truck handled this situation. They refused to stand behind their workmanship and instead wanted to either pretend it was broken before they touched it, pretend my tailgate was functioning normally, or pretend the dealership was out to get them. None of those things is true. On top of that, their poor workmanship cost me about 6 hours of my time, plus gas. Maybe t

Had the hood of my 2023 Bolt coated with Line-X. Gave them the color code and they matched the color perfectly. Work was done promptly at the quoted price. Highly recommend!

Outstanding work and customer service! A++++ If you are looking for quality products TTA Line-X is the Best! They know the products and stand behind them. At 1st I was not sure if this would be the best way to protect my floors in my ProMaster. After seeing the quality, attention to detail, and finished product I will never go back to other types of flooring. Ty!

Very happy with my experience. Had the bed of my truck sprayed and was able to wait at the location. They had a couch some chairs coffee water and such. Ryan was very nice and helpful and fun to talk with. After my bed liner cured I noticed I had a few issues with my tailgate opening and my 5th hitch covers and brought it back and they took care of it all no problem. Greatly appreciate all the work and help. I would definitely recommend them.

I live in Washington and I bought a Line X tonneau cover that had a few issues and was trying to call the corporate Line X number but called this store by accident. Even though I did not purchase my cover from this shop, the store manager Jason was super friendly, listened and validated my concerns and went above and beyond to answer all my questions - also provided solutions as to who I could contact. He took time and diligence to look up details about my product and was VERY knowledgeable about the process and products. I can only imagine the level of customer service and support that you would get if you are a purchasing customer! I would drive to Oregon just to give these folks my business. Great experience, keep up the good work!

Brought in my 2022 Mustang to get a new Spoiler mounted and my old one removed. They did a great job and also kept me up to date on the progress or any issues that came up.
Also the shop dog Max was fun to hangout with while I waited, owners also were really friendly.
I recommend checking this place out.

I purchased a BakFlip Tonneau cover in sept 2023. I asked to purchase a UnderCover Armor Flex Tonneau Cover... The women working the desk who I come to find out is a owner told me that I should buy the Bakflip as it is the best on the market. What a LIE that is. She probably just makes better margins on it. The BakFlip cover is complete crap. The weather proofing on both sides do not lay flat and causes a ton of water to run in. The reason to buy the cover to was to keep the water out. The water has ruined many of my items.
I figured maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the way I closed it, but after continuous issues I decided in May 2024 to have the issue addressed. The cover moves left to right and when I brought it back in to get into a different brand they told me wow.... everyone likes this and we have never seen that before. You can also lift up a side with it being "latched" and get into the back of the truck. NOT VERY SAFE FOR EXPENSIVE ITEMS BACK THERE!
They decided to contact Bakflip via email and told me to wait and see what they say. I was told I would be called a few days after I first came in, instead I called back 2x over 2 weeks to finally get an answer. Come to find out Bakflip told them tough they are not doing a warranty on it.
I brought my truck in again because they said they would try and tighten a few things but instead wanted to continue to be resistant to a replacement or a fix. I do not even want my money back I want to be moved into the original one I wanted to buy when I first came to the store. They should have taken pictures and sent them to Bakflip and fought to get a replacement OR get me into a different brand!
As a business owner myself if a customer has a VALID issue with a product I sold them I replace it, exchange it, or make it right. NONE of which Tualatin Truck Accessories would do, want to do, or even try to do. They are VERY defensive and unwilling to work with you. We just got into a yelling argument with their lack of care they give to the situation.
All they seem to care about is selling the item and never dealing with it again. I will NEVER do business with them again. Do yourself a favor and find a different shop to get your accessories.
Now I am stuck with a $1300 cover that does not do what it is intended to do.

Great crew!!! Crystal at the front desk keeps you informed while you wait and is always checking on you. Max the Boston Terrier is fabulous to be around and will put a smile on your face if you're a dog lover. Waiting room is comfy and hot coco is hot. We live almost one hour away and decided to come get running boards and Line X here versus the one near us. It has better vibes and customer service that's for sure. Thank you Truck Accessories's for all your hard work!.
