I quit going to Malheur Drug back when at the beginning of the pandemic. Some people were really angry about the mask mandate. I have no immune system. So I started going into Ontario to a different pharmacy where I felt safer.
Friday October 11, 2024 somethings happened and my Drs office made an error and called my prescription into Malheur. I called the Dr and ask where and when they sent it. Malheur Drug confirmed they had recieved it at 2:11.
I got a text from the Malheur Drug at 5:48 that my prescription was ready 3 hours and 37 minutes after they confirmed receiving it. They close at 6. I had twelve minutes before they closed to get it. I showed up as the employees were leaving and the door was locked.. They processed it and tied up my insurance on Friday night. They are closed on the weekends. I either couldn't use my insurance and get my prescription pay full price or wait until Monday.

Very nice staff, pharmacy is friendly also. Prices are a bit high on shelf items, but it's a small town, what do you expect.

Good little store has a little of everything fishing ,camping, meds, and a little pharmacy. People are a little stand off-ish if they don't recognize you as local.

Good old fashioned small town drug store, like it should be. Of course there is a pharmacy at the back, and a few rows of OTC medications and bandages and such... but they also have 1/3 of the store as outdoor retail, fishing stuff, an ODFW license station so you can get your hunting and fishing licenses and tags, they have some games and craft type stuff up front too. Just kinda like how old style drug stores used to be. And the folks thst work here are really friendly and helpful.

I have had a bad back over the last 5 years, and have not been able to drive to the drugstore for my meds. Jennifer and the rest of her staff have delivered my meds without any hassle. Thank you so very much!
