I am very happy to give my business to the home town Hardware/Lumber store. The counter & home delivery service is far superior to the big box stores. If Copeland doesn't have what you need they'll order it for you and in only a few days you'll have it. Their pricing is competitive too. This place is a gem.

Amazing customer service! Birdie helped me complete a special order that I was having difficulty with. Zach delivered it exactly when they were scheduled to, and the price was excellent. What a great value!!! Thank you.

Birdie and the crew at Copeland are always very helpful! Great selection for a small coastal lumber/building supply store. As a General Contractor they are my first stop!

Bob Meyer is a liar! Anything with a bar code is a small object. And who would take the time to put barcodes on lumber you waste!

In the area to take on a residential project and needed some materials so I stopped at Copeland's and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and variety of project items I was able to find especially once I engaged the help of the staff. I'll be back

I went in looking for things for a small home maintenance project and the two employees that were working were incredibly helpful, I got a full explanation of how to do my project both "the best way" and the "quick fix way", just in case I didn't want to make it an all day project...they have a great selection of parts, tools and building materials as well as lumber, definitely recommend to any homeowner for all their repair needs

New to town and we're figuring out where to get stuff. After reading all the bad reviews of the local Ace, I decided to get my paint here instead. So glad I did! They were all super friendly and helpful. Awesome customer service. The man helping me even carried the paint out to my car when it was done stirring! Will definitely be back for all our hardware needs.

Lumber delivered at wrong time when no one was home. Our front gate was closed and posted "no trespassing, video surveillance, dogs on duty." Copeland's delivery people ignored the signage and dropped $800 worth of lumber in the middle of our yard setting off alarms and illegally trespassing. When I called the office to find our why I spoke with the "manager" Grant who was rude citing shortage of employees, etc., yelled at me and hung up. Unprofessional to say the least.

I've been buying wood and hardware here for years, but can no longer. They've recently changed to a system where items are marked with barcodes, but NO PRICE. The last couple times in the store, I've had to take up an armful of items just to see how much they cost, and decide at the register whether I want to buy them. Then, just a couple days ago, I got a box of screws that cost over $100 that they've been charging $65 for for years. No price on the box, just had to find out at the register. I know the supply chains are struggling and all that, but I looked it up on Amazon and the same item and size (by a different manufacturer) was $54. I certainly prefer to buy locally if I can, but that kind of discrepancy can't be overlooked.I know there are a lot of contractors that buy there - and can just pass on the costs to whoever they're working for. I'm guessing that's the clientele they want to focus on, and the rest of us can take it or leave it. I'm going to have to leave it.
