Took a 5 day Cast and Blast down the Snake River. Owner Grant and guides Aaron and Tanner were great. Some in party were more experienced hunters/fishers, and some were not. They handled both great. There was flexibility to hunt or fish, and take difficult or easy hikes. Views were amazing. Trip was last week of October. Gear and sleeping bags were warm in spite of sub freezing temps. Food was excellent. Highly recommend!

You'll find no better rafting company in the PNW than Grant and his team at The Minam Store! Professional yet fun, educational, and all-around amazing humans. They took care of any and every need you could ask for on our rafting trip(s) over the years. The best cooks in the business as well, and the wines on the Food and Wine Trips is always top notch!

I have been on a number of trips and have had an amazing experience every time. Grant and his crew our extremely hospitable, knowledgeable and all around great people taking it to the next level. The Wine and Food on the river trips will spoil you!

What a great find! Lovely location, delicious ice cream and Lattes!! Also alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including hard cider, really beautiful fishing supplies .. great stop after a backpacking trip!

Everything about our 5-day Hell's Canyon wine & food rafting trip exceeded expectations. Our guides were kind, patient, funny, knowledgeable, and professional. They busted their asses to make our trip fun and safe, and took excellent care of us, hauling gear, setting up camp, and preparing and serving our meals. It's a testament to their skills that if anything went wrong, we didn't know about it. The food was fantastic and we had a great time with the Walla Walla Vintners guys, who brought great wines.
There were several class-4 whitewater sections that weren't as scary as I thought they'd be and I'm a bit of a weenie when it comes to whitewater. The guides navigated them expertly, so they were really fun. We saw lots of wildlife and camped in beautiful spots.

My group of 8 just completed a 3 day river trip on the Wallowa/grand ronde rivers with Minam store. Grant and his team were AWESOME!!! Every aspect of the trip was well organized, his crew was well oiled and organized and worked steady all the time.We were on a pampered trip and his team was very good at doing that, we had nothing to do but enjoy the scenery and the service and the bottomless wine bottles. We got in a few side hikes and collectively saw, goats, bighorn [s], elk, a bear and river otters, eagles, etc. Always something to see if you kept an eye out. I would not raft anywhere else in eastern Oregon without first checking with Grant to see if he does trips there and go with him. He just knows his stuff and I never felt my safety was ever at any risk at all.

We went on the Minam Store’s Wine and Food on the Snake River through Hell’s Canyon for 5 days and 4 nights of exciting whitewater (class 3) rafting, hiking and glamping. The entire experience was outstanding: Grant and his expert rafting guides provided insights on the river, wildlife, and historical context during our hikes; Walla Walla winemaker Trey Busch of Sleight of Hand Cellars brought an abundance of excellent wines; all the delicious food was prepared in advance by Chef Andrae Bopp (rhymes with ‘hope’) of AK’s Mercado in Walla Walla. Grant and Lottie Richie, owners of the Minam Store in Wallowa OR, provided the sturdy rafts and gear (dry bags, tents, cots, etc) Definitely recommend this adventure!

Grant and Lottie were great when I called to ask about a float down the Grande Ronde, adjusted the schedule by a day for us and answered all of our questions. Cody and Seth worked their butts off on the trip - Cody put us on fish, gave advice on our casting, and we got three steelhead in the boat. Seth ran the gear alone, usually a two person job, with the wall tents needed for a late October run. Food was great and lots of it. Enjoyed their company and can definitely recommend!

A very nice little store with friendly staff. I’m not a rafter, but it looks like they have anything you might have forgotten for your rafting trip.
