Ross near Astoria is a hidden gem for bargain hunters who don’t mind a little digging. The store is surprisingly well-stocked, especially for its size, and I’ve found everything from name-brand sneakers to quirky home decor that you’d expect to pay double for elsewhere. The layout can be a bit chaotic, but that’s half the adventure — you never know what you’ll stumble across.
The staff is low-key but helpful when asked, and checkout lines move quickly even when the place is buzzing. I’ve had better luck here than at bigger locations, which often feel picked over. If you’re patient and have an eye for deals, this Ross is worth the stop. Just don’t go in with a list — go in with curiosity.

Always something to find a good deal on. One thing I pick up most often is dog treats. They are much more affordable here. Plus dog waste bags. Picked up lots of, potential clothing pickup as well.

Extremely disappointing experience. I don’t typically feel any way towards customer service or associates but as someone who loves Ross and has also worked retail I was not impressed with how me and my partner were treated at this location.

Not much in the way of clothing for men they seem to cater to women. Shelves are all a mess but not terrible like Walmart is

What can I say… you get what you pay for!
Bought four items from here only to get home and discover that they’re all extremely cheap quality, or contain BPA, or harms health in some other way! Eg. The baby blanket sheds fur as soon as you touch it. Babies put this in their mouths and would be eating clumps of polyester…! The baby socks had fine print saying it contains BPA. My fault for not seeing it sooner, but still, not very pleased.

4 associates at the check out. 1 is ringing, 1 runs off, and 2 are more concerned with hangers than with the 8 people in line.
