We have been going to this shop for over 20 years. Most of that time was when there was a former owner who was an excellent mechanic and very honest. Recently, the current owner grossly overcharged us for parts and also inflated the labor costs for a regular service. A local dealership charges $21.79 for a filter for which he charged $37.27. The price-gouging on his bill for three filters totaled over $39. When confronted, he replied that it bothered him that we were price-checking! He tried to claim that he used higher quality parts but the dealership only sells OEM parts. He also charged $105 for supposedly an hour's labor to change a cabin filter and vacuum out some mice and mice nests. I asked the owner three times if it took an entire hour. He never said yes, but finally answered, "It took a long time." You can change a cabin filter in five minutes or less and I've cleaned out mice and mice nests before. You just put on gloves and you may have to do some vacuuming but it is certainly wouldn't take an hour. As an example, a local dealership changed a cabin filter in our other car, charged $21 for the part and 0 for the labor since it is so easy to do and you don't need any tools. He sent us a bill for four times the usual cost of a regular service, and even though it was obviously an unexpected expense around the holidays, he refused to let us pay half one month and half the next. He kept saying, "Are you saying you can't afford it?" Very rude and greedy and especially disappointing since the former owner was such a decent man.... Read More

Previous owner was an excellent mechanic and honest. Current owner overcharges for parts (up to twice as much as other repair shops) and also grossly inflates labor costs. If he suggests work that needs to be done on your car, be sure to get a second opinion! He told a friend she needed new brakes and she found out from Les Schwab that it wasn't true. Better yet, find a mechanic that is trustworthy. Can't help but think that the 5 star reviews are from owner's cronies.

I made an appointment for a tune-up 2 weeks ago before my vacation started, stopped in a week ago to confirm with the owner. Showed up on time this morning and was told by the owner that he was too busy to honor his commitment and had no time in the near future. So a big thank you for wasting my time. I'm glad you are so busy that you are comfortable treating your customers needs as insignificant Good luck with that pal.

Taking my vehicle to Warrenton Auto & Marine was recommended and I stand by them. Being a woman and they do get ripped off so the time. I don't feel that this company would do that. Until then....I stand by them. Yes, they are very busy, yes my vehicle was their a long time, I had a list to fix. They are reliable

This is the worst Mechanic I've experienced yet in this area. I called and set up an appointment to have my car looked at (mind you multiple days in advanced and they agreed). So the day arrived and I loaded the car up on my trailer and off I went. After driving the 45 plus minutes from home to the mechanic shop he refused to even look at. And went on to inform me that the only way they would even consider looking at it was going to be a minimum of 2 grand for a brand new motor(not including labor). Mind you this diagnosis was given without any sort of an inspection of the vehicle. After attempting to find a happy medium to see if we could install a used motor or have some way to try and keep it as cost effective as possible. They flat out refused to even consider any other options. With out offering any type of a solution other than the original outrageous option I left empty handed. To say the least horrible customer service and I can only assume the quality of works follow suite. I do no recommend this place to anyone.

These guys ripped my friends off badly. Went in for $350 wheel bearing replacement on a 2001 Excursion, and now 10k later, still not right. Owner refuses to cooperate or help. If you do business with this shop, you are taking a serious risk. Avoid!!!
