Based on the reviews, Cocina Nueva Vista is the best Mexican food in the area with amazing food. The salsa is incredible with a unique flavor, and the menu is interesting. The veggie taco is the best, and customers are still thinking about it hours later. The loaded fries are delicious and very decadent with the upgraded Birria. The bean and cheese burrito is so flavorful, much more than a basic burrito. The tallow fries are worth the trip alone. The Birria Grilled Cheese is amazing, and the Birria Taco plate is delicious. The Asada Beef Nachos are amazing, and the Burrito is huge and delicious. The sourdough sugar cookies are the bomb. The restaurant uses really fresh ingredients, and everything has so much flavor. The service is excellent, and the people are super friendly and kind. It is a local gem worth a visit.

Without a doubt the best Mexican food we have on the mountain. Anna and Marco are amazing people and the food is positively AWESOME!! Every single item I have tried is delicious and fresh made with love and care. Absolutely recommend everyone try this amazing food!

Excellent food, quality ingredients, wonderful salsas, huge portions, and fair prices. Kids visiting for the week tried the California burrito, bean-and-cheese burrito, Cocina burrito, and steak tacos. Lots of sour cream, guac & salsa. We are so glad Cocina Nueva Vista has come to Welches!
