I love working with Eric, I've been using him exclusively for years for all of my tech repairs. From screen protectors to MacBook repairs, he's been able to help me with everything. Most recently he was able to not only fix, but also restore all our old pictures from a water damaged phone that I thought was a goner. So thankful for his expertise in tech. Would recommend 100%!

Eric is the best! He kindly helped me with my laptop and there was an easy fix so he didn't charge me at all.

Not customer focused at all. I tried to buy a screw for a motherboard off of them and they wouldn't do it. Go to Best buy they said. Had they sold me a screw they would have won the business of a local PC builder and enthusiast. Instead they had to tell me they couldn't sell me a screw they had sitting behind the counter. What a bunch of jokers.

My laptop stopped charging and so I brought it in to this place and they were going to charge $129 JUST to look at it for 5 minutes and tell me what’s wrong. $129 just for diagnostics. So I left and BEST BUY DOES DIAGNOSTICS AND APPOINTMENTS FOR FREE. Best Buy spent 20 minutes with me doing diagnostics and discussing replacement and repair options in my budget. Don’t go here. Go to Best Buy.

Very disappointed with service. Took my tower in with a virus. 10 days later and I still don’t have it cleaned and returned back to me.

Saved data off a fried hard drive for me and got it back in about a day. It would have been faster except there was a lot of data on the drive. Highly recommend.

Even though they couldn’t fix my issue they were pretty cool, it’s nothing on their end it’s just the silly phrase of “it is what it is”. Friendly staff and knowledgeable.

Brought in my Mac, turns out they're not Apple certified and can't get apple genuine parts. They gave me a lot of mumbo jumbo about parts quality, but I did some research and they confirmed I'd lose some functionality with their repair. Their cost was the same as another local store I found that IS Apple certified. Guess which I went with? They've got a good selection of phone cases though

I would highly recommend CompRite - West Linn! They are always friendly, fully listen to what brings me in, and describe the plan how to address the issues for the items I bring in whether it’s a computer, tablet, or phone. In particular, shoutout to Eric for being the man! Thanks for always being friendly, providing honest advice whenever I need help, and correcting/repairing my electronic devices. It’s obvious they care about their work!

Fantastic customer service from Eric. After several bad experiences online and at local area cell phone resale stores, I called Comp-Rite West Linn and had the pleasure of speaking with Eric. Within minutes, he set me up with a new iPhone for my family business at a very reasonable price. What a great experience all around.

I DO NOT recommend. Bad 2 Worse experience. Sharing details with anyone reading reviews considering doing business with Comprite (West Linn). Bate & Switch tactics. My wife has an apple 2012 Macbook. We need to recover our family photos & videos saved on hard drive. The laptop turns on, but the operating system will not boot. I explained this situation & advised ONLY WANT TO RECOVER DATA from laptop. Cooper (front desk employee): "Yeah, we can "for sure" recover the data & diagnose the problem". I was ecstatic to hear that they would be able to recover the data "for sure". I paid for diagnostic/recovery fee up front. Cooper: "We'll have someone call you in a day/two". TWO WEEKS LATER, I FINALLY get a call from their tech Eric. He booted up the laptop & diagnosed the problem as failed hard drive. Eric: "We can replace the hard drive with a solid state drive (SSD) & recover the original drives files onto it". Not what I came in for, but for X dollars I can have the laptop working & all my files recovered, sure why not? I agreed, Eric would take care of it and call me within a few days when it was ready. After a few days, Eric: "Battery is dead, it's "puffy" & needs to be replaced". I said "Well I'm already paying X amount for the SSD & recovery, how much more is this going to cost me?" He replied "I'll only charge an additional X for the battery". Not convinced, I advised him I just had replaced the battery before the laptop stopped working. Eric: "Having not used your laptop in over X years the battery will wear overtime without usage or possible it heated up or it fell & cracked". I was skeptical, but agreed. A few days later Eric stated battery & SSD had been installed & almost ready for pick up, BUT they were having trouble recovering the data. I was upset, I had gone in specifically TO RECOVER THE DATA. From the beginning they implied that it was not a problem & that they would be able to recover it. Never stated that there might be some difficulty & not be able to UNTIL AFTER I had already agreed to replace the SSD & battery. Eric continued, "We can keep it a few extra days & continue to attempt recovery while we finish updating your laptop. If we can't recover it we'll refer you to an outside vendor & give you our discount code for them" & warned me that it was pricey. A couple of days later, Eric called still no luck. He stated he could continue to attempt recovery, BUT NOW they would have to charge me another X amount of dollars. I said "No. I'll just pickup the laptop". I settled on being bated & switched - in for data recovery & instead ended up with a replaced SSD, battery, & still no recovery. I brought the laptop home, turned it on & showed my wife it was working. Everything seemed fine. I put the laptop to sleep & it wasn't touched for another week. My wife went to turn it on, It didn't. Maybe the laptop battery was out of charge, so plugged-in charger, still not turning on. I considered the possibility that the charger/cord just needed to be replaced. Ordered a new charger. To my surprise brand new charger still didn't charge/turn on the laptop. I was upset but calm, Comprite would fix it since they have a 60 day warranty on their work. I dropped off the laptop the next day. A couple of days Eric calls, "You have to spend another X amount of dollars to replace the motherboard". I said "WHAT?! It was just in your possession & that was never once a problem! I USE IT ONCE and the motherboard goes out"?! Eric then became technical how it was because of old paste that had not been cleaned. My opinion, it was a bunch of technical fluff just to make themselves not liable for damaging the motherboard OR parts replaced not being compatible. I told Eric over the phone, "I'M DONE. I am not paying anymore money. I am comin

I was in need of a new phone and decided to check out CompRite in West Linn, since it had great reviews. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! Eric was so informative and professional. I ended up leaving with a new phone AND a laptop. He was kind enough to even give me a free screen protector and a case. I am not tech savvy by any means, but Eric was kind enough to help me set up the laptop.
