About Dollar General
This Dollar General is a quiet, conveniently located store with decent prices and an overall decent selection. It is bigger than some locations and is usually fairly empty with short lines. The store is clean and the staff are polite and friendly. Shelves can sometimes be a little bare, and it mostly carries frozen and boxed items rather than fresh produce. Customers report positive experiences, including acts of kindness from employees, and appreciate the value.

Wonderful customer service and some excellent prices for local convenience. Was tuned in to a deal I didn't even know existed by the sweet lady behind the counter today

It's a dollar general in a small town. So if you live there and frequent the store, you get to know the employees and exchange more personal greetings. Which makes it feel like a mom and pop kind of shop. But only in that regard. The store still feels like a small scale Walmart. I still prefer DG to Walmart anyway though
