I’ve had a really horrible week and Bank of America just set it off. Wednesday I turned 40 and then Thursday I got laid off and today the check that was supposed to be available today and said it would be available today now got taken out of my account and has a hold put on it and they will not release it and I am going to get evicted for it. I have three kids and the 91-year-old Grandpa that lives with me. There is no reason for them to be holding my money. It is a Bank of America check and it’s from a company that has cashed There before. Please help, all they have to do is release my money, but they won’t. They don’t care about people. I don’t care if it is somehow legal for them to do that. Because it’s definitely not moral. What is wrong with people today? My phone is shut off and I’m going to be evicted, but they don’t care because at least they will make some interest off of my money. I would give this place negative stars if it was possible. I’m sure they have something in their policy that allows them to hold money like that but they also need to have a policy that is a moral policy and if someone’s in a hardship, they can release it

Illegaly charging check cashing fees for non customers. Federal law prohibits this as well, other banks recently paid out class action lawsuit payments for this exact thing.

Micheal Fraction at BofA Wilsonville, OR is an excellent customer service focused Mgr. I had an awkward phishing event occur and Micheal had this solved and my piece of mind restored within 30 minutes. This perhaps wasnt a big deal until it happened to me. Thank you for the help Mr Fraction.

They don't answer the phone that's not a good thing but to be fair it's only a first impression it's definitely not enough information for me to judge negatively as I know banks can get really busy so we shall see and hopefully it's just a high volume of business interruption and will get better ?

This branch needs to open earlier and stay open later. 10 am to 4 pm is not normal banking hours. The normal working person cant get to this branch because of the hours. Staying open until 5pm and 6 on Friday would sure help. The Wilsonville Branch use to be open 1/2 day on Saturday and they stopped that. This is a big deal when people are choosing a bank & branch to which they can trust having their money in and able to access it with out doing everything on line. Some customers are OLD and don't do things that way and its sad they don't accommodate them.

This bank is disregarding legal documents and refusing to release money to family. BofA has gone as far as made up rules to hold the money in escrow. Now they refuse to notarize the documents they are demanding, stating we don’t have an account there! What are you saying BOA ? Did you steal our money? We had an account ? But now you say we don’t? What did you do with our money?

Bank of America, how do you expect customers to feel safe pulling $500+ out of your atm that is in plain site for anyone to come up and rob me/ take my money. Do better . All of your locations insides are closed, horrible .

I was mislead by customer service stating I was able to complete a transaction. Showed up and they said they could not do what was promised to me. Apparently the bank's customer service does not know it's own banking policies.

Tried to cash a Bank of America check at this bank following the sale of a home. I was told the bank did not have the funds to allow me to cash the check and I would have to make an appointment to come back another day to receive the funds. And I thought I was at a bank...doh....... I had to schedule with the bank a day to return to make sure they had the cash for me. When does a bank not have the ability to cash a check from their bank????

I opened my account at this branch of Bank of America over six years ago. Tuesday, I went in to deposit a check from my IRA account because we made a sudden decision to move and need the extra money in there right away. When I got to the teller, I had her check to see if there would be a hold and for how long because the new landlord would be withdrawing the move-in cost on Friday. She was unable to tell my how long of a hold they would place but was able to tell me that there would be a hold and that it could be up to two weeks. I left to attempt to cash it somewhere else but couldn't because of the amount. I went back into this branch to see if there was anything they could do and I was told by the manager that they were unable to do anything. I called the number on the back of my debit card hoping to find someone that could help. Again, I was told that there is nothing we can do and she assured me that the check would be held for five days. At this point, I am in tears and ready to open an account at another bank, but we are in the middle of a pandemic and from what I was able to find out most banks are not opening accounts at this time. I spent three hours trying to cash this check to get the funds into my account and ended up making arrangements with family to borrow the money.Yesterday, I went into the Lake Grove branch and told them what happened. The teller asked me who told me that there would be a five day hold. He the told me to hang on while he did some things on the computer. A couple minutes later, he told me that he had cashed the check and deposited the cash into my account and it was available immediately. I wish I could rate this branch less than one star. They are the reason that I will be moving my account elsewhere.

Didn't call to let me know they had cancelled my scheduled meeting. Wasted my time. Extremely disrespectful and irresponsible.

This place is the worst! BOA should do us a favor and close it so we done have to experience the slow, unconcerned customer service. Truly it should be a negative one star!
