Clean rooms, great staff, and breakfast was enjoyable. The only downside was the bed was a bit stiff.

The room was nice & the bed comfy. It was easy to get to from the interstate.

While pricey, it was one of the better rates in the area. Fitness center with elliptical, two treadmills and weights. Full breakfast with upgraded options, bobs oatmeal and a latte machine for coffee. Room was clean. Beds on the softer side and comfortable.

It's right across the street from a Lamborghini on Ferrari dealership which was comforting even though there was a motel 6 across the way as well.. One would have to assume that there's got to be less portland-based b*******.. going on in the area. Technically you're not in Portland but more than close enough to have a comfortable stay at a hotel. I normally Airbnb anytime I'm in the area and I'm super picky about those even as far as location and surroundings and temperature of the neighborhood that it's in. There are some DoorDash options late night like Taco Bell that'll pull right up to the hotel. If you need a nibble they also have lots of options in the lobby the place is nice. the price was great Will definitely stop there again if need be,
Best continental breakfast I've ever had as well waffle maker cereal sausage omelettes eggs syrups butters coffees etc
Rooms: Clean and crisp. TV channels aren't the same as what's on the lisitng paper. But.. it was fun. Trying to track them down.
Nearby activities: Portland. And all it's wonder!

Front desk very pleasant. Room looks nice. Opened the door and we were greated with the STRONG scent of pet urine. Truly disgusting. Went to front desk to say we wanted a different room. Sold out. But she'd bring us odor remover spray.
I paid $30 to bring my pets, was told on the phone this was because they DEEP clean these rooms. B.S.!!!!
I told the nice gal who brought the spray how disgusting this was, and said I'd like my pet deposit back.. she says I need to speak with general manager...
I will... and I'll NEVER stay or recommend this place to anyone with pets... I have no idea what the non pet rooms are like.

The room was clean, I paid for a bath tub room, where the tub was included, it was a stand up shower with an open set up where the water gets all over the floor, the ac unit intermittently worked (it was a hit and miss), during the morning, several cleaning people kept coming into the room after we had asked for another night and told them it would not be needed, finally the last time they entered without us opening the door.
I had to call front desk to confirm that they put down the reservation for another night, because it worries me that they keep entering the rooms assuming we aren't there. The food for breakfast was really unimpressive, powered eggs, short black curly hair in the biscuits, dirty dining tables,
the refrigerator was not stocked with half and half, the bacon is not real bacon, the sausage was greasy, but the only things that were edible.
The staff was attentive, though there were slip ups with the reservation, and misunderstanding the extended stay.
There was no sign that showed where the swimming pool was, which would be cool.
They tried, definitely better than sleeping at motel 6, but the only reason we went with this hotel was because of the food and clean rooms. I would not pay this much for this quality hotel room. I would much prefer motel 6 prices for this quality.

My wife and I booked the hotel when we were driving through the town and just wanted to rest up for the night. The first thing when booking in that put me off was signing 6 places on a 1 page form. That was ridiculous. We got put into a tiny room that was the most minimalistic room I have ever been booked in. Even as small as it was, there were areas in the room where it looked like furniture was missing. It was a low-level room of a view of the parking lot, and the tv was basic, not even a smart TV. I couldn't cast or stream anything. My wife called the lady at the front desk who had us moved to another room. Not before telling us I can't expect a smart TV in a 2-star hotel. Which seemed like a ridiculous excuse since we got charged 3 to 4 star prices and our next room we got moved to had a smart TV. But the second room was next to the ice machine, which was loud. So we called again and got moved to a third room that was much better. It was quiet, large, and had a smart TV, and was overlooking the outdoor pool. We finally got charged $187.71 for the night in a 2-star hotel. The breakfast wasn't very impressive. It looked like the cheapest ingredients were used. The eggs seemed like they were made from powdered eggs, and the burger or sausage patty as they called it, I'm not even sure that was real meat.

I'm glad to see that someone else has recently posted a review and I can't imagine that others won't. As a platinum select member who stays at many Best Western's throughout the year, I will also be calling the main corporation for what it's worth. The posted policy on my app states $30 pet fee for up to two pets weighing 80 lb. I stayed for 4 days at this hotel, which I have stayed at prior years, but was shocked to find out this time that they were charging I stayed for 4 days at this hotel 240.00 for my pets who are barely in the room and who leave no evidence of being there. I was there for a local dog show which 95% of the owners there for that reason are always the same- impeccable with the way they leave the rooms. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice about this and I could tell when he read the policy that he understood what I felt the way that I did. I was supposed to receive a call from the manager and never did and the other girl at the front desk, Violette was fairly rude about the whole thing and explained to that I likely wouldn't be getting any refund for half the pet fee because I signed it when I got there and allowed them to charge. 🙄 I explained that I signed because I didn't want to make a scene number one, but also because I thought perhaps I was in error and that it really did state that it was per pet but, no it doesn't state that it's per pet and it clearly indicates a $30 fee per night. I have stayed at many Marriotts and Hiltons and their pet fee while $75 a night is typically capped at $150 max, and let's just say this is no Marriott or Hilton. The air conditioning is mediocre, the staff is nice and the location is good, but it's a deceptive policy that I believe is taling advantage of people, which is very sad in these tight economic times. I will never stay there again and I will also be making this known to others and reviewing in as many places as I can. I guess that's what makes me the most upset, beyond the deception, is that we are disposable customers in today's times. All the manager would have had to do was refund the double pet charge and They would have had a happy customer as this is a reasonable fee. Now they lose the business of a loyal ( and honest, as others told me they just indicated they had one pet) customer and all the fallout that follows. People might look to the motel 6 on the very same block, where I observed there were lots of very nice cars parked. This looks very well maintained and of course no pet fee so won't be any surprise when the Best Western loses the business of good customers with this kind of service. 😒
