Not only are they amazing at communicating on my level, Katie and Alden helped me understand that my partner's car needed a muffler mount replaced and that it made more sense to have it go to a specialty shop because it would be more cost effective! I am so impressed that I will continue to drive from Gresham to make sure that my cars are serviced right. Fours cars over the years and no one but Sherwood Auto Repair will be touching them unless they tell me to go to a specialty shop!
I've been bringing my cars to Sherwood Auto Repair for the last four years. I love their model. The very first day I brought the family mini-van in they asked me what my goals were for my vehicle. We were paying off debt and getting everything in order, and I told Scott, I want to run it until the wheels fall off. They treated that vehicle like it was a priceless sports car. They saved me a couple of months ago from a bogus estimate firestone quoted me, that would've been 1200$ and today I needed to buy a battery, which lead me to and auto parts store and they couldn't do it. I called premiere and they had me in and done within 15 min! This is a place you can trust. No BS. Very refreshing especially when you don't know much about cars and its easy to take advantage of. “I'll start this review by admitting that I am generally not trusting of auto mechanics. I do most of our automotive maintenance and repair and have had several occurrences with past mechanics where I found that they were being less than honest and performing unnecessary work in the interest of billing the customer more.
This made our experience with Dimitri even sweeter. I had diagnosed our Toyota Tacoma to have a leaking head gasket and took the car to Dimitri after receiving a referral from a neighbor.
Dimitri assessed the vehicle and gave us a solid estimate for replacing the head gasket and having the head milled.
We accepted his bid and had several discussions with Dimitri during the week he had our truck. He even sent over several pictures of the work in progress and updated us with his progress, including the need for additional work which he explained clearly and concisely.
Once the work was completed we picked up our Tacoma enjoyed an in-person conversation with Dimitri. We found him to be honest, straight-forward, and supportive. And best of all, his work was of exceptional quality. Our truck has never run better.
I'd recommend anyone in need of auto repair or maintenance to go see Dimitri!”
“Love Brian and his crew. From the moment I called to the finished repairs I was treated as if my vehicle was the most important thing on their schedule. They worked with me on my payments and treated me with respect. Today is my second visit to finish up repairs. Brian was referred by other mechanics and folks in the auto trade which says something about the integrity and quality of work they provide. I was never talked down to because I'm a woman like some mechanics try. Nothing shiesty about Hendersons Auto. Go say hi to the giant Dane Charley and tell Brian Jerilyn sent you!

Just wanted to revisit my review for Brian & the team at Henderson's. Still #1 in my book and still a stellar 5 star business. Something new & nifty, I now receive an email containing my inspection report with Urgent & Cautionary recommendations for my auto care and no pressure discussion about what services I as the customer want performed. No surprise charges or unauthorized repairs and I have actually saved $$. I also receive an itemized invoice for my records which is so important. I am a huge fan!! I continue to recommend them to everyone I can.❤️ Tell Brian that Jerilyn recommended them”

I was helped by William, and he truly went above and beyond. He was professional, kind, friendly, and took the time to clearly explain what was being checked and why. There was absolutely no pressure—just straightforward, honest service, which I really appreciate. William made the entire process feel easy and stress-free, and his positive attitude genuinely stood out.
One of the things I love most about this location is how convenient it is that you can stay in your car while the work is being done. I had my dog with me, which made this especially important, and it was such a relief not to have to juggle waiting areas or worry about him at all. The whole visit was truly easy in and easy out.
The facility itself was clean, well-organized, and clearly run by a team that takes pride in what they do. Everyone I interacted with was professional and courteous, and the efficiency of the team was impressive without ever feeling rushed.

“Super fast, didn't even get out of the car. It also wasn't just full synthetic, they used a full synthetic European blend specific to my car rather than generic stuff other fast oil change places use. Might make no difference but I would rather not take that risk for a similar price.”
