WE have been to this park before about 2 years ago We love it there, its one the best parks on the Oregon coast. Spaces are level, all utilities are great & its just a fun beautiful place to go. We will defiantly return when in the area.

Worst experience without actually staying at the “resort”. The cabins are not secluded and the staff is dishonest. I would recommend going anywhere else. If you are unsure about booking don’t don’t believe the ill advised staff members who rope you into thinking there is no cancelation fee.

I booked a cabin for May 2024 a year out and was told by Shannon that I could cancel with no charge or fees within 7 days of reservation. I held the reservation with 90.00. I just called and was told that I was being charged a fee of 40.00 plus a 10.00 fee and that the remaining 40.00 would go to a "user credit" if I plan to stay again. I spoke with a PERSON when I made the reservation and now they are saying TOO BAD YOU SIGNED THE AGREEMENT. I honestly did not read it, I thought Sharon told me the correct info. Be careful when you make a reservation here, do not pay too much upfront or you are going to eat it if you do not keep your reservation. It is October 2023 and my reservation was for May 2024. I feel like they had plenty of time to book that cabin. I would never reserve here again. BTW THE CABINS ARE IN THE PARKING LOT AT THE VERY ENTRANCE. NOT A GOOD LOCATION AT ALL. LOOKS LIKE A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

We have stayed at this resort many times over the last 7 years. The park is always clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I'm writing this review in part to respond to the review left by the person who gave the park a 2 rating, stating that dogs were just turned loose and there was dog poo all over the place. We have never experienced this. All we can think is that this person must have gotten this rv park confused with some other park in the area. Sometimes there are some dog droppings in the dirt along the walking path that almost surrounds the park, but most people pick up after their dog. This is a great walking path that our dog loves to walk and sniff. There are almost always other people and dogs out walking, so we make new dog and people friends. This park has a great location for day trips to Bandon or the Charleston/Cape Arago area to the south and Florence or even further to the north. There's also plenty to see and do closer - beautiful, working Umpqua Lighthouse with great tour and gift & art shops, the dunes (driving atv's or just gawking), ocean and bay beaches, crabbing, clamming, fishing, restaurants in Winchester Bay or nearby Reedsport, near Tugman State Park and Lakeside (fishing, sightseeing, hiking), and those beautiful sunsets. When you go, be sure to see the lighthouse at night - rain, fog, snow, or clear (it's way cool). We have stayed here all times of the year and experienced everything from shirt-sleeve gorgeous weather to gale force winds that shook the whole trailer. You never know what the weather will be like on the coast, but you know the park will be great.

What an amazing place. Did not want to leave. The cleanest rv resort we have ever stayed. Made our reservations 1 year in advance to get a spot on the point. It did not disappoint at all. The weather was beautiful. We will need more than a week the next time. It was so hard to leave.

We leave on Saturday 8/20, after being here a month. We reserved late and ended up moving 9 times in a month, however, that just indicates how much we love it here by moving so many times just to be able to stay. The grounds, restrooms and facilities are all super clean. For the most part, the staff are all amazing and so friendly. We only came across one who has not been the kindest, but we never know one’s story as to why they are in the mood they are in. We got to know Barbara, Diane & Heather in the office who have been exceptionally kind and helpful to us. Tanya & Sue (and her husband)… and not to forget Willow (Tanya’s fur baby) and so many other camp-hosts have been above amazing and go the extra mile to help when needed. After being here a month, you truly get to know the staff and they are overall outstanding! This Spring & Summer we have camped from Texas to New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho and here to Oregon. We have stayed at many resorts, campgrounds and even Vineyards during our journey. All have been either good, awesome or outstanding, excluding one… Although Winchester Bay Resort has been the most expensive… it is our very, very favorite and so much worth the cost. Take a walk up to the lighthouse, walk down to Lake Marie and have lunch then walk the mile walk around the lake, visit the many restaurants Winchester Bay has to offer, listen to music at The Blue Box, relax, fish and/or play cards or board games while listening to the seagulls… Winchester Bay Resort is a piece of Heaven on earth ❤️

We just had a wonderful stay at Winchester Bay RV Resort. Our RV spot backed up to the bay with beautiful views and evening sunsets. RV spots were paved and level, hook-ups were well placed and easy to use. The site easily accommodated our large travel trailer. Many guests were in large diesel pushers. Each site is surrounded by grass and they are well spaced from each other. Picnic tables were placed to protect from the wind. There's a paved 1 mile walking path around the bay and marina which was great for our dogs. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were well kept and very clean. Very close to the Oregon dunes so many guests had their ATV's onsite. Great landing spot for exploring the many state parks and small towns on the Southern Oregon coast. One caution, if you book a spot in the area they call The Point, be prepared it will be windy.

This RV Park is beautifully landscaped. We were told that all sites in this facility were designed to provide a scenic view and protect each picnic area from the ocean breeze. An easy 1-mile paved walking path around the park, that even had ¼ mile markings printed on the pathway. All sites are Paved with nice grass and trimmed hedges between many sites. Water/Electric easy hookup, but the sewer drop was located farther away, so had to add another extension to the sewer hose. Which was the same for many of the sites we saw. Bathroom, Shower, and Laundry ($2.00 wash - $1.50 dry) facilities are spotless and well-kept.

We have been coming to the Winchester Bay RV Resort for many years and we are never disappointed. The location couldn’t be nicer. It’s nestled between the Winchester Bay Marina and the Umpqua River where it connects with the ocean. There are so many beautiful things to watch and explore here. And some of the best seafood on the Oregon Coast is only a 10 minute walk from the RV park! The folks here are so nice and always make us feel like we’re being welcomed home!!

This is right on the waterfront. Prices are very reasonable. Best wifi we have ever had at a campground and available at every site. Washrooms and laundry are spotless. Staff are friendly and helpful. We only stayed overnight on both occasions, en route for home from San Diego so didn't check out any activities etc. nearby.

Great year around municipality RV facility. All paved sites, beautifully manicured grounds, bay on 3 sides for perfect views, next to giant rolling sandunes with lots to do or nothing. Fishing, crabbing, boating. Spotless restrooms and showers. And, best of all, very nice park attendants.

Our first visit and certainly not our last. Sites were nice, fire pits and picnic tables at every site, nice views of the bay and harbour. laundry and restrooms were sparkling clean. They have a clubhouse, but did not visit or use. very quiet. no playgrounds for children but beaches were very close by.

We loved our short two day stay right on the bay. The people were super friendly and easy to work with at the campground. We are definitely coming back just to relax and tour the area. We had a beautiful site, camp fire at night, and great weather
