Salmon Harbor Tackle and Charter Service is a favorite place in Winchester Bay. The shop is great and well stocked with everything needed for salmon and ocean fishing, including lures, bait, rods, reels, nets, line, and crab pots for rental. The staff and very knowledgeable owner are extremely helpful, friendly, polite, and courteous. Their advice on fishing is very helpful and they know the area well. They even cook your crabs. Visitors should also visit their partner cafe nearby for breakfast, pastries, and cinnamon rolls, which offers the same high quality of service.

This place offers services like fishing gear sales and boat rentals, but I used their crab cooking service—they boil live crabs you bring in for $2.00 per crab.
I found it very convenient and worthwhile.

This was one of my favorite places in Winchester bay!! The staff was very polite and helpful! We even came back for breakfast to the restaurant!! Thanks guys for the hospitality đź©·
